Disappointed
Finally got to use this. Had been looking for a stick stove that was small yet without fiddling putting sides together in cold weather with arthritis.Saw this, and it looked versatile with both sticks/wood as fuel and alcohol burner.I have used stick stoves before and like how you can use a few twigs and not rely on cannisters.Sadly this particular stove would not stay lit, and so was unable to make even a brew let alone warm a meal up.So it didn't work using twigs, which is what I really wanted it for. I do have some alcohol tabs to try the burner and use that. But to be honest, I will be looking elsewhere for something that actually burns and does what it says it will.

Was hoping for better.
It's a nice little stove, quite versatile, lightweight but it has a couple of problems when used as a meths burner. First of all, the flame never really blooms, there's far too much yellow flame, which of course isn't as hot but it also soots up the bottom of your pots quite heavily. Secondly, the little flame snuffer thing doesn't always work, but you think it has worked, which is potentially dangerous. It's a good effort but it needs improving. Not as good with meths as the original Trangia, but obviously a lot lighter. I prefer the Trangia and will continue to use that and maybe sell this one at a car boot sale or something.

Seems dangerous
The media could not be loaded. Stove works fine, but the included snuffer does not actually put out the flame. I have 3 videos of me trying to put out the flame, but I can only upload 1 per review.I contacted the seller, but nothing came of it.I recommend buying one of the Trangia style stoves with the snuffer/simmer ring. They are much safer, and the screw on lid makes it easier to save the fuel you don't burn.
