Gibson Elite Matisse Double Bowl Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 (16pcs), Taupe

These look great coming outta the box and look great on the table. The short wide bowl is perfect for a salad or for "sloppy" dishes like stew or chili. Plates have a solid heft. Side late is larger and will fit a sandwich and side of pasta salad or chips. They look and feel hand made but are free of warps and unusual edges. Beautiful.

I am delighted with my purchase! My dishes arrived today, in perfect condition. I love the handmade look of the glaze; the slight variations in the color and pattern enhance their appeal. I did not want dishes that looked mass produced. They look expensive; solid and well made with a nice weight, but not too thick and heavy. Just what I was hoping for and I couldn't be happier. After days of looking and reading reviews I decided on the Gibson Elite Matisse, in the Taupe color. I can totally recommend them. These dishes would make a grilled cheese look elegant :)

Beautiful finish, sturdy stoneware. Besides the gorgeous color, my favorite feature are the two bowls. The small, deep bowl is perfect for cereal or soup, holds a lot more than you'd think. The wide low-profile bowls are perfect for salad or pasta dishes. I purchased 2 sets, the second set after I received the first and fell in love with it. I found some mugs from a different company that were a close match in color.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I opened and inspected all pieces. 2 plates had slight flaws but because this is such a dark color, it stood out. It was a few white spots of no glaze or color. I contacted the company and they sent me out 2 more plates. VERY impressed with Gibson customer services.The plates and design are beautiful so if you like the pictures you will love this set.

The blue and white pattern looks great and adds a nice touch to my table. The plates and bowls feel sturdy and are easy to clean. Perfect for everyday use or special occasions.

I love these and they’ve held up really well! They are really pretty, Beautiful color. They have a little weight to them. I have washed them in the dishwasher over and over and they’ve held up really well. I’ve got to say that my favorite part is the little salad/soup bowls. They are adorable and great for pasta, salad, or chunky soup. Highly recommend this set and would definitely buy again!

This is a gorgeous set. We got 3 of them and no major defects or problems. (There is a slight line on one of the bowls that I think is normal for a product like this.) What I don't like is the bowls are sized a bit off. The pasta bowls are great for pasta and maybe salad, but that's it'. It's not good for soup or cereal. The deeper bowl is good for soup but it doesn't fit in the dish washer well. I wish it were wider. (More like a bowl rather than a cup of soup.)We couldn't be happier with how great it looks.

4 years ago I bought this set for my son for his quarters on base. I had hoped he would bring them back with him but he gave the set to a friend. So the time had come for me to replace my dishes. So I got 2 sets. I really like this set makes me think of the Alaska sky. I like that it comes with 2 sizes of plates and bowls. Dishwasher safe. Dinner always looks pretty on these dishes

Colour is like faded jeans. The 2 different bowl sizes are very unique & handy. They are very tough. I have banged them a few times (by accident) against our quartz counter tops & thankfully, they haven’t even chipped. Very solid.

Están muy bonitos los platos, los he metido a lavavajilla y microondas y no les pasa nada.Entre ellos no tienen un color 100% uniforme, unos más oscuros que otros pero a mi me gustó mucho así, ya es un tema de preferencia de cada quien.Si valen la pena para el precio.

Se siente pesada, de calidad, no se le borran sus detalles del diseño y el color es muy bonito luce más gris que verde pero sigue siendo hermosa

Although overall this plate set was a beautiful design and colour, some had "print defects" and fading ,one large bowl had a "disfiguration" on the edge, a "filled chip" .I would have returned these but i have emptied the packaging and thrown it away before i checked the plates as at this price point i expected 100% quality checks! very disappointed.
