Good TPM module if your motherboard pinout matches
This TPM 2.0 module is a useful part for compatible ASUS motherboards that need a discrete TPM module. It is especially helpful for systems where you want TPM support for Windows 11, BitLocker, secure boot-related workflows, or other security features. The module itself is small and simple, and installation is easy once you confirm the correct header. The important warning is to verify your motherboard manual before buying. TPM modules are very pinout-specific, and a 14-pin LPC module for ASUS is not automatically compatible with every board or every brand. For the right motherboard, though, this worked as expected and was a good solution.

Bought for Asus Maximus VIII Hero mobo
Exactly what I needed for TPM to be detected. Bios was already at current ver 3802. Installed chip, powered back on, and bios saw it. Still had to work around Intel i7-6700k sys req headache but finally got upgraded to Windows 11.

A useful option for updating "ineligible" hardware to Windows 11 Pro
As indicated by other users in their reviews, this TPM 2.0 module works with my ASUS Z170 Sabertooth motherboard. BIOS shows the module is working and active. This means that updating my Windows 10 to Windows 11 only lacks inclusion on the M$ CPU list, and the override for that seems to be a minor problem fixed with M$'s own registry hack. Upgrading users without SSE4.2, UEFI, Secure Boot and TPM must pursue a more drastic approach. For now, this is a minor expense to keep my Kaby Lake computer up to date and Win 11 inspired. Be sure this is the right module for your motherboard -- this module fits ASUS Z170 boards, and I wouldn't know what else.

Worked Great on Asus Z170-A
This plugged in and was recognized on my Asus Z170-A, I could see TPM2.0 active in bios and windows. Then used the (unrelated) 'Rufus' tool to make an appropriate windows 11 bootable USB, and now I'm running Win11 on an Intel 6700K with full TPM2.0 support. Win10 license transferred just fine. Lots of fun as a little project and appreciate the easy plug-and-play of this little chip.

Windows 11 issue
It worked ok then Windows 11 has an issue with that TPM. [ The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) hardware failed to execute a TPM command.] This is installed on an ASUS Motherboard Z390.

Works with ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming Motherboard
Works with ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming Motherboard (ITX size). In the BIOS, switch the Physical Presence Spec Version to 1.3 under the TPM settings. I was then able to do a fresh install of Windows 11 via USB media.
