I discovered these after casting about for a replacement for Oscal after California put them out of business. They are a nice oval shape, not huge, and smooth so they go down easily, and I have had no issues with these upsetting my stomach as so many other did in my search for a new source of calcium. Each tablet provides half of the total daily requirement - so pretty standard strength, so if your diet is pretty good you can take one, and if you think you need it add a second, discuss with you doctor is always a good idea. As I take these daily, and will forever, I did cost comparisons - pennies add up over time - and these were middle of the pack. The company seems to have a reasonable reputation for selling what they say they are, which is a more important aspect of supplements than cost, so that made me more comfortable. My recent bone density scan made my doctor very happy, so apparently these are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. I have these on subscription so I never have to think about them.
