I have owned many bread knives, one or two 4 to 5 times as much as this one. I cannot remember a bread knife as good as this one. It cuts whole grain bread twice as thin as any other knife I have and does it effortlessly. Truly worth a top review!

I got this to upgrade my old bread knife. I use it exclusively for bread. I have an old bread knife with a fibrox handle. I thought this would be a nice upgrade. It works great on bread. It's a very attractive knife. It works about as well as my old knife, but was twice as expensive. It has that round, bulbous handle that I associate with Shun knives. It came in a nice gift box. If you're looking for a bread knife, there are less expensive ones out there that do the job just as well. But if you're looking for a pretty bread knife, this one is pretty good.

Very disappointed I'm a professional chef I thought this knife would a good tool it's made well but comes not sharp out of the box .
