I first saw one of these on a TV cooking programme & loved how easily the chef could control temperatures. Having checked on Amazon I wasn’t surprised to see it was sold out so I just kept checking back, waiting for more stock. It finally appeared & had a special offer of under a £100!! I didn’t hesitate ordering…. I use this hob everyday. It’s quite slimline, has individual timers on each side, child locks, great temperature ranges, looks amazing, built to last, heats up quickly & easy to clean after use. You do have to use pans that are suitable for induction hobs but it’s easy to check if your pans are suitable by seeing if a magnet attracts to the base. This hob would be great outside, in the summer, next to your barbecue or as additional cooking surfaces for that Christmas/New Year dinner when every pan is in use. The left hand hob temperature ranges from 1800W to 200W in 10 increments, and the right is 1000W to 200W in 5 increments. You can choose either power function or temperature function. The timer range is 1 hour up to 4 hours. There is a fan underneath for heat dissipation. I thoroughly recommend this induction hob. It has a 2 year guarantee, looks amazing, works efficiently & worth every penny spent!

Love it! We had one of the previous iterations of this double hob and do to my own fault I broke it. I figured I would order the same one again and we both really liked using it. This one is even better. The temperatures are more granular, so you can actually simmer stuff without it burning. The top is no longer slick glass, it's more a matte ceramic. Pans no longer slide around on their own. Much better. Love it, get one.

When the induction hob of our (very expensive) Hotpoint cooker stopped working with a loud crack and bang, we found that as it was out of guarantee we had to pay £250 up front before someone from Hotpoint Service would even come out and look at it. We reasoned that for that money we might just as well buy a separate induction hob. What a master-stroke - double hob wasn’t just cheaper than the repair/call-out charge, it was also FAR BETTER, that Hotpoint hob. The touch “buttons” are both clear and responsive. The power levels are similarly very clear, and thankfully it’s not annoyingly sensitive to the slightest drip of surface water. It looks good on top of the now redundant Hotpoint hob (which, btw, makes a good, easy to clean work surface). Needless to say, it also works very well, and on full power boils up water very fast indeed. I HAVE NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING THIS.

It’s nice and does the job, it’s not as flat as I was expecting, a bit noisy. Only one side reaches upto 1800 the other doesn’t go up beyond 1000

I am really happy with my purchase of this double induction hob. The multiple power levels let me to easily switch from a low simmer to a rapid boil. Having completely independent touch controls for both sides makes it simple to cook two different dishes at the same time. Also, the glass surface made it easy to clean the surface after use.

Was delivered rapidly, well packed and looked like a solid product. Boiling of water as fast as using a kettle and boiling eggs, noodles or rice worked very well without problems and the timer is convenient to use. Unfortunately, here the positive side ends. If you want to use it for frying or even preparing a scrambled egg you may look for something different. Heating up oil in a pan and adding some onions produced some initial sizzling that completely stopped after about 15 -20 seconds without showing an error message (setting at 1600 watts). After a minute or so another short burst of heating stopping after a few seconds. Actually, it took about 40 min to simply fry some onions. Contacted the technical service...they required a video. Sent a video and it took some time to come back to me telling me that my observation is "normal". The system is overheating and stops working until cooling down and they do not consider this as a problem. If I would like to use it for proper cooking I should select a different product. However, they offered a 15% reduction of the price. In other words, while I think there is a defect with the cooker, a replacement was not offered rather than a partial refund. I am not sure what the strategy of this company is, but although I hardly ever write a product review, I felt obliged to do it for this one. I had to send it back to Amazon and hope that a different brand will give me more joy to work with.

My first induction hob, our cooker hob/oven is gas. Heats water freakishly fast, very impressive. If all you do is boil water to boil or steam eggs/potatoes/pasta/rice/vegetables then as far as I can tell you set the temperature to 100C and it does it! It boils the water. Set it to 80C and it stops boiling the water, back up to 100C and it boils again; it's the fastest response I've ever known. Haven't tried frying yet. This hob has more power settings than some of the competition , some of which only go down to 500 Watts, I purchased this one because it goes down to 200 Watts giving one better low power control if that proves required, then up in 200 Watt increments, peaking at 1800 on the left and 1000 on the right. I suspect we'll use the temperature setting mainly and park it at 100C. When turned on it seems to default to the maximum temperature which I feel is silly, it should default to the lowest setting or the last setting used. You can't set the power or temperature unless a pan is sitting on the hob which is annoying because there is no power delivered until an induction suitable pan is put on it so what is the harm? Take the pan off and the heating stops instantly but the hob will be hot because a hot pan was there. The cooling fans are reasonably loud but I would not describe the noise as intrusive. Two year warranty. Pleased with it so far, I think I chose the right model. I chose an induction hob because I felt it the safest way to cook as it only heats when the pan is present and then rapidly cools, good for those who might accidentally leave the hob on.

This inductions hob has been the perfect package. Works on all my pots and pans and is very effective. Furthermore, the customer service is very fast and reliable too; when i had a small issue with the hob,AMZCHEF immediately resolved the issue and sent me a replacement hob. Definitely go for this product, its way better than the ones I have used in the past.
