Buy it!!
This stuff WORKS. Long story short, bought a second hand pool, stupidly didnโt check it and of course it had holes and leaks. Well, I sandwiched the holes with this and not a drop of water escaped it. I did double the patches as the vinyl is a little thin, but they send you with a few good sized vinyl repair sheets and lots of adhesive. Definitely a good value for the money. I pictured an example of the size and severity of the hole this kit repaired.

Durable, easy to use!!
I've used this product the past few summers to repair various holes in our pool liner and it works wonderfully! I even patched a few holes at the bottom of our pool last summer while it was filled with water (YES, it really does work under water, just follow the manufacturers directions and you shouldn't have any problems)! I have never had to "re-patch" a hole as the patches hold up very well if applied as directed. Great product, highly recommend!!

Was surprised with the quality of the cement spreader.
Product worked great. Like the fact that the cement has a dauber for spreading, so you donโt have to worry about it shedding like some horse hair brushes do. Comes with lots a vinyl repair material.

it works
One of our Golden Retrievers decided to not use the exit ramp and tried to climb out by crawling up the side.... Big tear. We lowered the water level below the tear, let it dry for a day, applied this patch per instructions. But I'm kind of neurotic about having to do things twice so after the patch was set I took a piece of the brand " Flex Tape" clear over the patch. I'm happy, tear is sealed, used pool all summer with no problems. I believe this is a permanent fix but is it doesn't hold up after winter I will update. Check beginning of June 2026. If there is no update, then everything is cool

Its Ok but could be better
I would give this 5 stars because it does do the job BUT I have a few holes to fix. Now alge grows around the patches. They won't tell you that the glue changes the chemistry in the water and turns the liner yellow after a while. ONLY around where I patched the holes. It seals great and was so pleased until I found alge, I've never had an issue with my chemicals in the pool til I patched the holes. And discoloration of the liner so next year I might have to get a new liner but I have had this pool for 10+ years so its due. But I love my pool so I'll do what I need to.

Great Stuff- Hairy Dudes Beware!- Updated. One year later
Incredibly easy to use. If you cut and pasted in pre-school, you will probably have no trouble with this product. There is quite a bit of patch material and more than enough glue to do numerous patches. As with PVC cement, I would put the lid back on with pliers to minimize hardening over time. I patched the liner in an in-ground pool. It would have been trickier in the deep end, probably would need something weighted to hang on to, but the shallow end was easy. The patch stopped the leak from my pool and wallet immediately. I will check it again in the spring and amend this review as necessary. Now about that warning. I cut the over-sized patch and slathered on lots of cement. Being a wood-worker, I wanted to make sure the joint wasn't glue-starved. I folded it over as per directions and easily put it in place, pushing the air and excess glue out of the sides. In place and all good, less than 15 minutes from opening the package to finish. Then I noticed a few quarter-sized blobs of glue floating on the surface. I knew they'd end up in the filter, skimmer, or stuck to the liner. I was already turning blue as it was windy and chilly so I didn't worry about it and climbed out of the pool. I then realized that the excess glue on my hands was drying. It was kind of fun, like when you put glue on your hands in kindergarten. Oh, don't act like you never did it. A few minutes later I felt an odd tugging on my chest. Yep, one of those floating bits of glue had lovingly wrapped itself around some chest hair. I went to pull it off and HOLY MOTHERLESS SON OF A SEACOOK! I almost fell to my knees. In my hand was a good chunk of chest pelt. Over the course of the next hour the glue dried and I found about 4 places on my legs, 5 on my arm hair and a couple more on my torso. Some of them dried in such a way that they pulled hair out when I moved a certain way. I didn't pull any more off by hand. Over the next three days I used scissors, razors and a beard trimmer and finally had to let a patch on my shin go for about a week until I was able to get it off without skinning myself alive. All I can say is I'm really glad I don't have a hairy back. **UPDATE** It's been a year and the patches are holding fine. They are a lighter color than the liner, possibly they dried less clear or maybe it's the glue. Still quite pleased. Also, all my hair has grown back.
