These shoes have a round pivot point on the bottom of the shoe for exactly what you are asking. Most of the ladies in my Zumba class wear sneakers, but these are so much better. I have been wearing them for years.

Not sure I know what slip resistant is. They are wonderful shoes and I wear. them every day - for years. I do not find them slippery. They are made to dance in. However, they are not good for walking on ice.
