I love this net. It’s the perfect size for shrimp or small fish, and the material is stiff, so it keeps its shape in water which makes it easier to release and catch stuff in my opinion; it’s not a floppy net material. Looks good, extendibility is nice, feels plenty strong, and it’s good for the price.

MAJOR EDIT! This is NOT perfect for DAPHNIA or BRINE SHRIMP, It does catch most newly hatched brine shrimp, but not 100%. For four bucks and some change, this isn't a bad deal. (I was skeptical about it rusting... It's now about 2 years later, and no rust.) This net extends to a shocking length and converts back to its short original state. Making it perfect for a deep or shallow tank or container. The net is smaller than I thought, but that's a good thing because it will do well for the tiny containers I will use for my Daphnia Cultures. (LOL that culture didn't last long.) SUPER FAST SHIPPING. (Yeah, I had Prime) I also like how the net folds to a flat shape, almost like a piece of origami paper. It folds in and perfectly rests against the wall (if it's hanging). I'll give it a 5 STAR RATING. (If you want a net that will catch all BRINE SHRIMP, then definitely go with a higher quality net)

This is the perfect size shrimp tank net. The net is actually stiff so it keeps its shape under water and dislodging shrimp from the net is much easier. The net end is a little flimsy and easily bent so be gentle with it when trying to close after extending.

I'm extremely happy with this net. For some reason the fish don't flee from it. Just easiIy transferred 5 baby fish!!! just come up from the bottom and WA LA! Easily caught. The long retractable handle makes it easy to maneuver and store!

I was specifically looking for a small net with fine mesh so tiny fish fry wouldn’t slip through, and this net is exactly what I needed.
