Kwikset Shelburne Single Cylinder Handleset w/Lido Lever featuring SmartKey in Venetian Bronze

When my husband and I arrived at our home in Florida in January, we observed that our front door locks were corroded. I tried polishing them to no avail. Our HOA is strict about what we can and cannot replace. In this case, I was told exactly what locks were acceptable. This was it so I really didn’t have a choice. Therefore, I wasn’t too excited about this project. We also bought the deadbolt that matches. I cannot speak to the ease of installation since we had a professional install it. However, when it was done, it made a world of difference. I hung a new wreath and bingo, I had the front entrance I wanted. The lock looks beautiful and fresh. So, although I didn’t pick this model, I am thoroughly pleased with how it looks.

$17 cheaper on Amazon than at Lowe's so that's great, but we're buying this to replace ones we bought just 7 years ago. We had the antique brass finish and over the years it was chipped and peeling off. Also, on one door the thumb lever stopped retracting the latch all way in, making the door hard to open and it got progressively worse (Lowe's staff said this is really common). Didn't want to take a chance on having to drill more holes in the door so we bought the same thing this time around.

I installed this lockset on a new wood exterior door and not only does it look amazing, it's sturdy and fits like a glove.

For buying site unseen this was delivered free and was beautiful then we saw online! The lock set made our door look more expensive then it really was! I recommend this lock set to anyone who is looking for a set that is not only good looking but sturdy without breaking the bank so to speak.

I replaced our front door entrance handle and it was easy to install including re keying the lock to work with our current key. I will be purchasing additional handles in the near future.

I love this lockset! It is beautiful. I do wish they would tell you in the specs that the distance between the lever hole and the small hole for the bottom of the exterior decorative handle is 8.5". It is important to know where the holes are in your door if you are replacing an old lockset, otherwise you'll end up having to drill new holes. (I've done this before and it wasn't fun!) Everything fit easily with no modifications. Being an engineer with a natural aversion to reading directions, I did have to re-install the dead bolt a couple of times. No big deal!

Love the quality feel of this product. It installed fairly easily, but we failed to read enough of the details to realize we could no longer leave the house and lock the door simply by pulling the door shut behind us. I guess we won't be locking ourselves out accidentally anymore, but when we're in a hurry it's kind of a pain to have to slow down & turn a key to lock the door.

These look great when installed. Easy to install. The ability to re-key yourself is great.
