Alpha jerk, accuses her, beds her. Rinse and repeat. HEA.
I’m beginning to wonder if I shouldn’t put aside HP’s as I really don’t care for the playbook and still don’t get it. The majority present Alpha inner-monologuing misogynistic jerks with "Yes-Sir-give-me-another" doormat heroines who simper and take whatever is dished out by whoever then HEA. Turning the cheek is really not all that attractive in a romance novel.Plot here:The H strong arms the doormat into her second MOC because of his nephews. She was manipulated into her first sexless MOC by his now dead, manipulative little brother as a pathetic setup to…who cares. The H humiliates her, shames her, insults her so, of course, she’s in love with him. It’s not until he enters the third realm of HarleyLand, the Hymen Destruction, that he realizes he may have been mistaken. Even then he’s mean. Does it matter to the heroine? Yes, for about 5 seconds.Once, just once, could the heroine say “I need distance,” and actually mean it for more than the time it takes the hero to push her buttons.Too much been there, done that with these two.P.S. In defense of my blatant rejection of Harley tropes and standards, I pulled a muscle in my neck and I am VERY CRANKY. I'm sorry Ms. Green.

Terrible book with a weak doormat for a heroine.
Hero believed h was a gold digger until he discovers she's a virgin and then because of the power of the magic hymen she is proven innocent in all things. Double standard and saint/who*e myths abound in this book. Avoid at all costs.

Claimed for the Deal Carrillo Twins
This story was heavy with family strife. The two men, one born in wedlock, his half brother...not. Now years later they are what is left of their fathers legacy. They were raised in the same place but not allowed to be together. The youngest angry with his brother. When he married Trinity, once a maid in the older brother household. The division was seen. But was it all as it seemed? What evil was planted by the betrayal? Can love ever grow?

A Good, Quick Read
A pretty good book about jealousy, sibling rivalry and gross misunderstandings. The H is both attracted to the heroine & determined to paint the heroine, his former housekeeper & wife of his late half brother. He think she is a first class gold digger & bad person to be around & caring for his brother's twin boys. A good read.

What an amazing ending
I love 💘 this book. It did all what a good love story should do, it made me cry and made me fall in love. I just wish the heroin, Trinity had just a little more back bone and stood up to the Hero, Cruz and got him to really listen to her, but then the story would of ended way to soon and he didn't realize what he was feeling was love 💘 because he was never given any. Anyway I've never really written a rating before but had to write one for this book, read it you won't regret it. I love Abby Green books she's one of the best writers of love stories out there.

Ok
I really wanted to like this story more. However, there was too much angst and distrust. Yet it was not so bad that I would not read again.
