Finally! A non-disposable brand of charger!!
It boggles my mind that this isn’t a more known brand - I’m actually worried that because they are so good at what they do that either the prices will go up or they’ll be put out of business by the phone manufacturer! After years of going through phone cords like they were made to be disposable, I got fed up and started doing some research into the most durable & long lasting phone charger. I kept coming back to this brand after seeing it mentioned multiple times, and when I saw that there was a lifetime warranty I was sold but still doubtful. It couldn’t actually stand up to my kids use forever so I knew I’d have to put that guarantee to the test at some point. Thankfully it worked like a dream for us and really did seem to be thicker at the end point that goes into the phone so that when my kids were being rough in disconnecting it, it held up and didn’t immediately have issues, which is more than I can say for most of the other kinds we tried (and we tried a lot!) So after a year I bought this 10 foot cord because my previous one from another brand had quit working completely and I like more freedom while charging so it seemed worth the minimal cost to try the longer version (even though I thought for sure that with that extra length came more opportunities for issues.) But the first one had saved us so much money already from not having to buy a new one each month! Well the lasting power was there too because it worked perfectly for almost a full year. And when it did begin to charge intermittently and then seemed to quit - Anker held up their end of the warranty with their hassle free guarantee. Within a matter of a couple days I had the replacement and it’s every bit as good as the original and I didn’t have to stress over getting a new one and which one to get and would it even work to begin with or how long until I’m telling my kids not to unplug & move the charger because it could make it stop working? Yet I actually use one of these with a power bank so I’m moving it all the time with no effect - you don’t get that out of dollar store, $5, or mall branded cables. * and to be fair, this one I had that stopped working was used beside my bed, and I’d often fall asleep using it so I didn’t baby the cord and it still saved me from buying around a dozen new cords before it needed replaced (at no cost to me, might I add) And the original cord I bought? Well, after my kids ripped it from the tablet jack for 2 years it did show some wear at the connection. But it never fails to work! When I showed the company the photo of that - they replaced it too! I stan this brand and gave their powerful cubes as Christmas gifts because they charge our stuff so fast and who wouldn’t want to low key rep a company that’s just doing the thing that we all wish we could take for granted. I wanted peace of mind and not to have to always be worrying about my phone cord situation and I’m finally here. It’s liberating and I can’t imagine I’ll ever waste my money buying another brand of cable again. It would be worse than literally throwing my money in the trash because I’d actually be paying for the headache another brand would give me. And I’m not in any way compensated for a review I just really believe more people should know about these and I would drive around with their bumper sticker on my car telling random strangers about it because they are killing it in the cable world and will hopefully raise the bar for other manufacturers to quit selling disposable junk in place of something we have to be able to rely on every day.

Excellent choice!
Using good storage and use practices, the cable has lasted for several years. Heavy duty and it does not tear like most have. Works with my iPhone 12. My siblings envy it.

Good
I’ve gone through a graveyard of cheap Lightning cables, but Anker’s USB to Lightning PowerLine (6 ft) is in a league of its own. This thing is built like a tank. The cable feels solid, not flimsy or easily frayed like the Apple ones that come in the box. At 6 feet, it’s the perfect length—long enough to use your phone comfortably while charging from the couch or bed, but not so long that it turns into a spaghetti situation. Charging speed is great, and data transfer is just as solid. I use it with both my iPhone and iPad, and it hasn’t missed a beat. Bonus: it comes with Anker’s customer service and warranty, which are top-notch. If you’re tired of replacing cables every few months, just get this one and be done with it

A stronger cable than most competitors with a fair price and customer service
The Anker Powerline II cable is indeed quite a durable cable however there are a few problems with it along with reasons why I still think you should get some. Like most cables bending around the neck area of where the ports are, Anker's cables like most cables are not entirely immune to this type of damage however they are still much stronger than most competitors and much better than Apple's own official ones. Another problem with the Powerline II series it that the lightning connector can rust on the metal contacts, however I also must admit that I clean my iPhone XS occasionally with soap and water so its fair to say that the phone dock can have some left over moisture that rusts the cable ports. The last complain I have is if you decide to purchase in White, the cable may start turning yellow, I'm not sure if it has to do with how I store them but this is mostly just a cosmetic problem that doesn't affect the actual durability of the product but if this bothers you you should probably just get it in a different color. Now onto the positives, it is very fairly priced, most Lightning cables at this price range (10-20$) are not as strong and Apple's standard design is far more expensive at 30$ but far more fragile, thus this cable is what I believe to have the most value in terms of strength and price. Finally, the lifetime warranty. Customer Service for Anker in my experience is pretty high tier, I had two cables fail on me due to repeated twisting on the lightning side and thus got "The bends" and eventually stopped charging, Anker support asked me to provide a few details through e-mail about what the problem was and sent me my two replacements, this all happened within a week and I was quite happy with the results. All in all, I highly recommend this product for anyone thinking of buying a set of cables for themselves.

Nothing will last forever, thankfully ANKER warranty policy does!
Initial un-boxing: Cable was packaged in a simple sturdy box, cable felt durable and not cheap, it has some heft to it. I bought this cable mainly because of the warranty, knowing that it will last a lifetime, its a no brainer. I travel quite a lot so this cable goes where I go. The nice thing about a long cable is the reach. Every hotel room is different, sometimes they have the power socket next to your bed, sometime they have it across the room. Having this long cable really put ease between charging. The cons: It does tangle from time to time due to its length, I'm not even gonna complain on this one. **1 YEAR AFTER: There's some crack here and there, some noticeable weak spots, its starts getting more pliable and filthy. I cleaned them like once this year, with disinfectant and some good rubbing (you're going to hell). But as you can see from the video, the steel braid cabling inside the rubber casing is not affected, its still solid. Its about time to call/contact Anker to claim that warranty. I was surprised, even though its in such a bad shape the cable have persistently performed; no hot spots, no losing charge, no malfunction. I'm quite impressed at this point. **WARRANTY: I emailed Anker customer support and they followed up right away. No hassle and timely to deal with. I have my replacement cable in about a week. Overall, I'm very happy with this company, and I wish they will never go away. Keep it up Anker!

Charges multiple devices simultaneously
So far so good! I have been testing the cable to ensure they charge quickly and simultaneously, and they do! I have charged three devices at a time so far. I purchased this for an upcoming trip to Europe to hopefully reduce the number of cords needed and I think it is going to work well.

Better then most
Lasted 8 months under heavy duress, I think lighting chargers are just designed to fail. Just bought another, it’s better then the typical Chinese junk you’d buy that all sorts of power transfer issues after a few charges. This works great, Apple sadly just designed garbage, it is what it is.
