These are not as nice as the abalone hearts I have purchased in past. Looks like they are pieced together and then covered in a cheap resin. Not of a quality to make earrings to sell but ok to give to grands for play jewelry. I was disappointed, only keeping because my granddaughter saw them and loves mermaids.

The quality and sizing are way off. Beads are not consistent in their sizing.

I made a necklace for someone with these beads and was disappointed that she messaged me back to inform me the abalone fell off so she super glued it back on.

I like working with abalone and other shells but they run a bit more than other stone beads that I use. These abalone coins are perfect for my beads projects and the price is much more affordable than others and the quality is the same. I plan on ordering more of these abalone coins in different sizes. Very nice product!

I made a couple pairs of earrings with these and really like how they turned out. The colors are not identical in any two shells that I could determine, but they are certainly close enough that I don’t think there should be any concern about matching. The colors would pretty much go with any type of metal. I used sterling silver earring wires, but I really think gold would be just as pretty. They are rather delicate to handle. Two of the shells broke apart as soon as I inserted the “straight pin” stake that attaches to the wire earring piece.

These abalone shell beads are beautiful. They are also well made, and the holes size is very consistent.Just be aware that because they are natural they may look a bit different than pictured.

These are very nice abalone shell beads and they were packed very well and survived shipping very well. I would purchase these again.
