No. I actually ended up returning it because it was so small. It would barely fit my iPad 2 in it

Pretty small. I have a Samsung S5 and it definitely wont fit. It fits perfectly in either front pocket though.

Q: The big goldish Buckle on the front. What is the proper name for it? Buckle? Latch? what?

I would say a latch... Pretty secure and a different design, but it works
