It was easy to cut down the rods with a hacksaw, and slide this into the 58mm hole in my tank lid.I appreciate that the rods are very long to accommodate all needs. The height of my new flush valve doesn't need them as long to reach its buttons. But my prior one would have needed it, and I learned the hard way last time that not all products on Amzn are long enough.Obvious tip: Be sure you measure the hole in your tank lid to see if it's roughly 38, 48, or 58mm size before you order.

Used to fix my toilet flush but I ended up just replacing the threads on my old button. I had to cut them a few times with a hack saw (scissors as shown in the photo would be tough) in order to get the length correct,

Product works well. Easy to install. Only challenge is I needed to use a hacksaw to shorten the length; not regular scissors as the description suggested. Otherwise … perfect.

Pretty straightforward product. When installing, you may need to clip the plastic threads down a bit, but they cut easy enough with a leatherman. Pretty easy fix that brightened up my toilet for less than $10.
