I purchased a size 7 for my 7 yo. She is 56 pounds and maybe 43” tall. This dress is well made and fits her perfectly now. The dress is a bit tight under the armpits around the chest but she can touch her toes and straighten her arms fine. It just pulls a bit. We only need this dress for one particular occasion so I’m keeping it but if I needed it for future, I’d size up. The length is perfect as is.

I actually thought the sleeves were tulle and my daughter was going to complain but the material was much softer and it was super comfy for her daddy daughter dance for the evening. It was so comfortable for her. She’s in a tween phase and i thought that this dress nailed it! And for your bigger girls, it’s super super flattering 💗

My Tom-boy daughter, who never dresses up picked this out for a wedding that she was invited to. It was perfect, so cute, the size guide was great. She’s 11.5 years old, 5’1” and about 75-80lbs soaking wet. We sized down and got a 10 based on the size chart so that it wouldn’t be baggy on her. It was perfect. She never complained about it being itchy. The lace was great and it was the perfect about of poofy at the bottom. Lots of Wednesday Adams vibes. Good quality too!
