I installed this over the steps to my deck for safety in the dark. It works great - the motion sensor lights the steps when approached and it turns off after several seconds. There are 3 settings to choose from = dim all the time then bright when motion is detected; off until motion is detected then on for a bit; or on at dusk off at dawn. It's solar so no batteries needed.

Not sure this ever really worked right. Light would only occasionally work. Now nothing at all. Solar charger in similar location as another light. Which has been working well for over 5 years.

It's no longer working after about 14 months. Do I have to replace the internal battery?

The battery it came with turns out to be rated as 300 cycles. After 10 months it would discharge and turn off before dawn which requires climbing up to it to push the button to get it back on the next night. O replaced that battery with one rated at 900 cycles which should give me 2 1/2 years. Also the battery was soldered in but the case is designed for a snap in battery which would be more convenient. If the light would not revert to off at battery discharge it would help as well. Not dissatisfied but longer life battery and not resetting would be preferred.

This a a good light for a small area. I use it light up my backyard gate and trash can area. Perfect for my needs.

Wanted a solar powered, motion sensor ight for the interior of my 8X10' Tuff Shed. This light was easy to install and provides much more illumination than I expected. It appears to be a fantastic value but time will tell.

Did not get the unit mounted till the spring of 2024. It worked quite well, but after our first big rains in the fall of 2024, it quit working. I took it off the mount to see if it was properly plugged in, and water came pouring out of the receptacle on the light where the wire from the solar cell plugs in. Both connectors were quite corroded. I tried to clean the connectors, but still not working. A shame. I was so hopeful for this light.

Sold with lifetime warranty. Product failed. No response. No replacement. Buyer beware.

Worth it for the price. It’s been a month and still working well. 👍🏻

The material is plastic, the size is small but the brightness is just enough for the space. However, for a week use, i worry the intense heat here in KSA will melt away the solar unit. Still have to watch out if it does. Will update soon. But so far, it is worth buying.
