Concept is simple and the product looks solid. The issue is that the rivet holding it together is worthless so that breaks almost immediately. The parts can be screwed together however so no big deal, right? Wrong. At some point during a simple install the threads holding the bolt between the plastic inserts and the hinge will disappear and one side will no longer hold together. Another drill tap operation later and it becomes clear that the hinge is about as strong as a dried sponge and will simply never hold.If you need this in any structural capacity, which appears to be its only use, do not buy.

Bought two. They look good. These are not sturdy/ heavy duty. As another reviewer stated, the rivet that holds both pieces together is worthless. One came already broken and the other is quite shaky/not holding well. I had to replace mine with a skinny nut and bolt.

We have a very unique angle to a very massive front window in our home. These worked like a charm with IKEA curtain rods! They saved us a bundle! They are just slightly loose but I can still easily open and close my curtains that are hung on rings.
