HIVIZ PM1002 Competition Fiber Optic Sight

I used this kit to replace the stock silver bead on a Remington 870 Express with rib.This sight is MUCH easier for my old eyes to find and put on target. The kit has several bead sizes and colors that allow you to customize the sight for your needs. I was sure I wanted the green light tube with the large bead but after trying it, I settled on the orange light tube with a medium bead for better visibility during the hours when I use it. The kit comes with a light tube storage tube and plastic key to help change the light tubes as well as 5 screws that fit most shotguns, including my 870.Several reviewers complained about the single screw attachment point that allows sight to move BUT blue Loctite works wonders. A drop on the screw and three drops on the base have it stuck to the rib. Some reviewers complained of problems with light tube falling out. This model solves the problem with a clip and notch on the light tube. Overall, the sight worked much better than I imagined it would.

I have this sight on all of my Browning sporting clay guns and some field guns as well. Easy install. Several different size screws are included for the different manufacturers.. It helps me acquire the targets faster.

This was chosen because there was already another one in use, but that one had no pipes left, was easier and cheaper to buy a whole new one and stick it on another tool and just have two and split the pipes between them. However, the holder for the pipe got the medium and large pipes stuck and unsure how to get them back out.But works great for intended use!

Easily installed in minutes on Mossberg 500 with a bit of loctite and works great with my 54 year old eyes, different colors and sizes are brilliant feature, very visible under varying conditions, has held up well for months, assume that tubes will probably break over time but replacements are cheap on mfg website, know this sounds nuts but 4 stars only because packaging is ridiculously difficult to open, unless I overlooked some other method it took me more time to carefully cut out each separate tube from thick plastic packaging than it did to remove factory bead and install, otherwise a great improvement over factory bead and other snap-on/magnetic models.

Have these in 2 shotguns, working on putting them on all of them-great sight easy install-just be sure to use thread locker!

I install these on all of my shotguns! I have been using them for years and have never had an issue with them. The light pipes are bright, and I have never had one break yet. Just put a little bit of blue locktite under the sight when you install it and it will stay in place indefinitely.

I recently purchased this HiViz sight and it is awesome. The kit comes with several screws for installation. After removing the front bead sight from my gun, I used a pair of dial calipers to measure the thread diameter. I measured the supplied screws and selected the correct screw from the kit. Per other posts, I added a small anount of silicone culk to the bottom of the sight before installing. The sight has not moved and it is awesome. It is very easy to see and is a significant improvement over the stock polished bead. It is not bulky like ones that slip over the rail, so it looks stock. I am very happy with my purchase.
