I bought this for my tiny college apartment for the winter and it was super easy to assemble! Took me about five minutes and no tools (other than hammering in the pegs at the end). I’ll see how the durability holds up, but so far so good. The natural wood color is also nice and classy.

Don't waste your money or time.

Overall what I expected. Great for guest rooms and even my own. But those annoying part number tags (important for assembling as I ignored them and then had to refer to them and the booklet to get all the hole for pegs in the right direction) are super hard to get off and wish manufacturers would put them where they won't show when a product is fully assembled.

You get what you pay for. I should have bought the unfinished wood version so I could paint it. The dark brown looks worn and cheap. Plan to use it to hang purses. Very easy to assemble - just make sure you have the hook slots facing the proper direction. Even with putting in 2 pieces upside-down to start it still only took about 5 minutes to assemble.

This coatrack arrived with streaky staining and no sealant; this means the colors will run if a wet coat or umbrella is hung on it.One of the inserts for the legs is mismade, causing the rack to wobble.The pegs must be pounded in, rather than screwed in, so the rack cannot be disassembled to put away in the off-season.I have purchased two other coat racks in this style from other companies, but this coat rack is not as well made as the others.Amazon refused my last review for stating these things, but I do not recommend this product.
