Louise Loves Bake Sales

This book is cute and had potential but I believe the author made this book a little confusing for a level 1 reader.The book contains a homonym in which they are doing cupcake art and her brothers name is also Art. It is challenging enough for a new reader to learn the words without making the story confusing by adding a homonym. I also purchased the Dick and Jane level 1 & level 2 books which I much prefer.

Granddaughter loves reading the Louise books.
