Batman Vs. Bigby!: A Wolf in Gotham

I really enjoyed this even though it's characters are just slotted in , Bigby could have been replaced by a multitude of others and still the story would have worked . Bill Willingham does a great job with Batman and the Robins , makes the story really flow .well recommended .

As others have mentioned, Batman isn't quite the one we are used too - which didn't bother me at all. In fact, I thought it was an interesting take on the character - and on a whole pack of Robins. As it's set in Gotham there is more of an emphasis on the Bat-side of things than the Fables one, and I'd have liked a slightly better balance. The story itself follows somewhat predictable lines - naturally Bigby and Batman spend most of the book at odds - but the villain(s) was/were intriguing. Fables competists should definitely get it, but Bat-maniacs may be less impressed. Overall, it worked well enough for me to deserve at least one reread sometime. And I liked the art.

Been looking for this as a gift for someone else and so my review is a little limited.However it arrived very well package, within the window i was given and the trade paperback was in great condition due to being well padded.Also the receiver LOVED it and was pleased about all whole thing.

The book was in amazing condition and was a very entertaining read. It was interesting to see Fable characters and Batman together!

Gratuitous Violence, doesn't add to the story. Surprised at you Bill!

A crime story. Something like a blend of Brubaker and Grimm Brothers finest storytelling. Bigby and Batman. It's almost too good to be true. Great writing, great artwork, gotta have it.

Simpatico crossover, l'occasione per una sana serie di scazzottate tra antieroi, incomprensioni come da contratto, e una passabile gestione dei cattivi. OTTIMO il comparto grafico, Batman mi sembrava un po' troppo isterico e facile alle conclusioni. Bigby Wolf poco approfondito. Avrei preferito un po' più di ciccia in questa storia che invece è leggerina e senza colpi di genio
