Not great quality.
I think it will be fine but the top section has come loose and requires glueing to keep it attached.

Over priced!!!
Gaps between it and the seats. Items fall down between them. Top gluing came apart, had to re- glue!

Works for my 2001 Toyota Highlander.
I bought my trusty '01 Highlander several years ago from an older couple looking to upgrade. It's been perfect for my needs, but this SUV had several issues that really irked me. One being the entire center console assembly had been removed previously, and in its place was the cheapest, crappiest little cupholder thing. This had been the bane of my existence for the entirety of my ownership of this automobile, lol. The cupholders SUCKED, my Yeti mug would constantly shift around as I drove, causing little spills all over the place that I constantly had to clean up. It sat really low between the seats and was a pain to reach for as I drove, without having to look down. I had been looking for a center console replacement, but man those things are hard to find. Even used ones pulled from the junk yard were selling for several hundred, and that's without all the proper mounting hardware. And if you wanted to get a factory new one? Pffft...yeah you're spending at least $500 freaking dollars and would need to buy several parts and hardware separately. So, I continued to suffer. This most recent period of renewed frustration and determination to find something, anything, better than the current situation led me to this item. I took some measurements, the opening between my two front seats being around a half an inch smaller than the item's width. I figured this seems to be relatively thin plastic, so it will have some flex to it, and I decided to give it a shot. The result? OMG I have a real cupholder now that holds my Yeti snugly, is raised up high enough to be a comfortable reach while driving and looks SO much better than the brown-stained carpet surrounding the pathetic little $5 nightmare that I had dealt with for so long! This console fit between the seats just snugly enough that I didn't have to worry about it shifting during normal driving. That half an inch disparity in the dimensions of the console and the space available did cause minor flexing of the frame, so opening and closing the security lid is a bit rough, but I don't plan to store any valuables in there long-term. Fun fact though, a locked container needs provable legal cause to open by any law-enforcement during a traffic stop, regardless of how secure it actually is, which may prove valuable someday. I bought some basic soft plastic closet shims from my local plumbing supply store and squeezed them in at four points where the console rests against the plastic frame of the front seats, and now she's very secure, I can't even make it slide by hand anymore. All in all, I'm so happy that I don't have to look at that eyesore of a cupholder anymore and can actually sit my coffee-filled Yeti in the cupholder with no worries.
