WOW! My little Chiweenie has been eating "Wellness TruFood Baked Blends Natural Grain Free Dry Raw Dog Food - small bites" until now and loves it but Amazon was out of stock so I bought this instead. It's not easy to find small bites that are small enough for her. I tossed what was left of her Truefood with this and hoped for the best. The bites are all uniformed and smooth edged (like smooth raisins), unlike the Yruefood that has sharp edges. I seriously was worried she'd pick out her Truefood bites but she did just the opposite! Any Truefood bites that she pulled out, she left and devoured the Ultra! (She takes her kibble out of the bowl and lays it next to the bowl.) She ate 3/4 of the bowl and there are only Truefood bites left behind! Looks like there's a new dog food in town! ;)

My dog has rebelled against the stay-at-home orders in the Bay Area by becoming a total diva. She refused to eat any of the dry food that she's been a huge fan of the past year, and after a couple of days she also stopped eating her canned food too. I wasn't sure how amenable she would be to trying a new food, but decided to try. She loves this! She immediately ate half the food and then started guarding her bowl from the cats — something she hasn't done before. Definitely a success!

I had to switch my 14 yr old papillion’s food after persistent yeast infections and other allergy-like reactions. The poor thing was so constipated she cried when she pooped and we had to take her to get her anal glands expelled. So far, she’s been eating and acting like her usual self again. It’s been really great to see her health improve. She’s excited to eat! Since she doesn’t have any teeth anymore, I soak her portions in water to soften them and she still gobbles them down. We haven’t had any adverse reactions in a month since we started feeding her this.

I have two female dogs age 17 & 15. I recently switched them from Science Diet Senior for 11+ because they grew tired of it. They seem to really like this dog food. I just wish the kibbles were smaller as my dogs are old & their teeth are not what they used to be. The oldest at 17 seems to swallow the bits whole when she does eat it. She won't eat it dry without something mixed in. But she will eat it well if I soften it. I am on my 3rd bag of this food.

LOVE this dog food! I have a 12 year old mix breed 5-7 pound dog who has trouble keeping weight on due to his dislike of dog food. I always keep some dry food out just in case he gets hungry during the day & the second I put this in his bowl he was chomping on it which is amazing since he rarely touches that food! For his daily meal I normally mix a 1/2 cup of dry food with a few scoops of wet food & he seems to like that much better too especially because with all the natural oils the food becomes a bit softer & I can already see improvements to his health & knowing my fur baby still has a few good years left is the BEST feeling! (:

I’ve been using this dog food for quite a while for my precious pup. He has graduated to the senior bits now. He is healthy and his coat is beautifully shiny for an older guy. And boy does he love it. The only drawback was my closest pet store kept running out of it I now buy it through Amazon and I love the convenience.

I didn't really have high hopes when I bought this product. My dog was having digestive issues and I wanted to try something new to see if it would help. She is very picky, so I wasn't sure she'd even eat it all. To my surprise, she actually enjoyed it! She stopped having diarrhea and went back to having normal poops (sorry, tmi). I've also noticed that she has more energy and seems happier overall. I would definitely recommend this dog food to anyone.

My dog is 6 and has never eaten more than two helpings of any dry dog food. He's pretty spoiled. A neighbor offered a handful of Nurtro to him eat & ate it. Yeah, I thought, sure, one more bag$$$. This was about 6 months ago. He has eaten it everyday since. (He does get fresh sweet potato for breakfast.) On my second bag and will. buy it again.
