It's organic
If you care about the quality of your soap and you are using organic ingredients then it makes sense to use organic sodium lactate as well. This is a good soap making ingredient. I have been making soap for several years now and for me quality ingredients are key.

not great
bought this as my normal supplier couldn't deliver in the time I needed and now I wish I had just waited... used with the same recipes I've used for years and couldn't get my soaps out of the molds after 4 days without severe damage. so disappointing! ruined 9 batches of soap.

On the fence
Did not work for my recipe 1Tsp per pound of oil. Disappointed I went back to using pink salt which is cheaper and make my cp soap firm up perfectly over night. Might try a smaller batch so I don’t waste product.

Bottle just over half full when I received it with no evidence of leak
I would have sent it back but needed it, so I kept it and used it. Completely disappointed that bottle was so empty with no signs of leakage. Also this is second time I bought this, first bottle was twice as big for same amount.
