Perfect to fix 1950's era glass shower door.
One of my ancient two old 1950's era sliding glass shower door bearings fell apart and the door became very difficult to slide ... so time to get off my dead butt and get busy on Amazon. With a cheap 10 dollar digital caliper from Harbor Freight Tools, I determined that the damaged rubber or silicone wheeled bearing was 3/4 inches in diameter and that the rubberized wheel was flat. I needed two for each door...while the second door was fine it will doubtless require replacement bearings soon. In researching Amazon .... I see that such shower door bearings are available in flat, curved, 3/4 and 7/8 sizes ... and with or without brackets. Naturally, the ones with brackets cost much more. Larry does not like paying more. One other complication...all of the presently available bearings attach themselves to the sliding door bracket via a screw. Unfortunately, my bearing were riveted on. So....I took a minor chance and ordered this inexpensive set of four bearings that were 7/8ths inch in diameter. When I got the new ones in the mail a few days later, I used the cheap caliper to determine that the screw for the new bearing was about .15 inch in diameter. I found a drill bit just a little bit larger and drilled through the rivet and bearing with everything still attached to the shower door. Turns out, quite by accident, that the left over tiny circular disk of metal that was the OUTSIDE of the old rivet worked perfectly with the new screw. Without this accidentally made "collar" for the screw to fit in ... I would have had to search my parts bin for something like a bushing for the screw to go through as the old rivet hole in the shower door bracket was way too big. When I screwed everything together and rolled the new bearings back and forth ... it was obvious that it made no difference that the bearing were 7/8th inch in diameter rather than the original 3/4 inch. It also made no difference that the rubber/silicone wheel was curved rather than flat. Because I am a relatively disorganized DIY idiot, the job took me about two hours. It might take a "normal" handyman 20 minutes. So...for once a DYI project by a guy that has only grudging and primitive DIY skills .... WORKED !!!

Perfect replacement
These little replacement wheels saved me a ton of headache and hassle. I went to three of the big name hardware stores and told them that one of my wheels had come off and they all said that I would have to replace the door because nobody sells just the little wheels. Thank goodness for Amazon! These installed in just a few moments, and they work perfectly in my shower door. It has stayed on track for about a month now, and I double checked the wheel this morning, it is still as tight as ever. This is a great product.

Rockin' Rollers
I needed one roller to fix a heavy sliding door in my basement. This was 6 bucks plus for 4 of them, which drove me crazy for a while before buying it, but I could not find one or just two anywhere for cheaper. Then I got them and they didn't look so tough, but I drilled the old roller out, put the new one in and it worked like a charm and my door was fixed. Project done and I can move on to the next one! I call that a victory. Only now I have three lonely Rockin' Rollers.

Don't throw that old door away!
My sliding shower door's wheels were worn and falling off the track and scraping and you know. Why go out and spend your hard earned money on a stupid shower door. I'm sure you can find better ways to spend $250 then on a shower door. So why not just refresh the hardware. Easy and simple to do, I have extra dough in pocket and for 5 years now, this has performed flawlessly. It worked so great, I told my grandmother about it. She has a sliding patio door that's 40 years old. The wheels were shot. She was able to get the hardware on that door replaced. It's like brand new and she saved thousands over buying a new patio door and having it installed. Do yourselves a favor and save some money, replace the hardware, not the door.

Work Great
I have to echo the other reviewer in saying I didn't even know these existed. We find ourselves constantly having stuff repaired around the house usually involving a lot of aggravation and expense. When our shower doors become increasingly hard to move, we feared the worst with visions of a handyman charging us mega bucks for new doors. Thanks to some quick searching on Amazon and reading the positive reviews, we purchased these rollers. I'm happy to report that these inexpensive rollers were easy to put on and have our shower doors sliding smoothly like they were new again. If only more of our repairs were this easy and/or inexpensive!

Do not buy!!
I’m a licensed contractor. I bought these to do a small, quick job for a loyal client. The screws didn’t fit, they were too big, so I had to go get the right ones at a local hardware store. Given the time I spent going back and forth to get the correct screws means I will lose money on the job. I can’t believe that Amazon recommends these wheels - maybe the company pays Amazon to promote the product. Who would put the wrong screws in with their wheels. Terrible!

Requires only Phillips Screwdriver and Patience.
Requires only Phillips Screwdriver and Patience. You'll need to adjust the level of the roller of the diagonal shower door slot - so mark where the old screw is locked down before removing and replacing with this set. Door should open and shut with one finger - with no grinding of surfaces. Door should actually roll from the rollers to work properly - so this is a vital part to your shower. I took the time to re-adjust the doors - while sweating like a dog in my bathroom. I was patient with myself [and the heavy doors] until they now hang lightly and open with a nudge of my arm.

worked well, for a while.
These were easy to install, and had no problems with wrong sized screws. However, they didn't last long. Bought in June of 2018, and about a week ago, the doors stopped rolling. Took the doors off, and found one wheel completely off the bearing and wedged stuck, and the other 3 were worn out and wobbly. For the price, these aren't bad, but I didn't expect to need to replace every couple years. Buy cheap and replace often, or look for something better.
