10" Round Sendan Tokusa Plate

I love this design and have a small set I've collected. I was so distraught when this plate broke in the microwave during normal use. Forgot to take a picture and it was beyond the return time. In the old days if you paid $25 for one plate you knew it would be around for your grandchildren. (That's another story since they probably don't want. 🤷🏽‍♀️) Still I'm very disappointed.

These are beautiful plates; very well made and high quality. I put them in the dishwasher and microwave. I've had them a few months and they are holding up fine, although that's not really enough time to tell. They are on the small size for dinner plates - the product description says 10" and I measured it at 9.8". Although I don't want a large dinner plate, I do wish there were just slightly bigger, like maybe 10.5" or 11". I would order only 1-2 plates at a time because if there are more than that in the box the weight can make them crack if the box is dropped. The person who delivered mine tossed the box onto my porch and it fell with a big thud (I was there); when I opened the box one plate was broken. That's not the seller's fault or the plate's fault, but maybe the seller could pack them with more bubble wrap. Amazon should tell their delivery people (and it was Amazon this time) not to throw the boxes.

Love these dishes but one cane in broken but not from shipping it was glazed over the crack. Minor defect but the plates are gorgeous

I was exciting to get this charming japanese plates for dining. But it was delivered with broken!!!! So disappointed... need to refund asap..!! The package was just thin bubble pack and two thin brown papers only. Need to improve.

I already have a set of these. The plates are attractive to make a beautiful table and sturdy they don’t break or chip easily.

Very good quality. Heavy and perfect.
