Baby Costume, 6-18 Months

Cutest costume ever! We got so many compliments on our baby lobster. The quality was perfect for a costume and this was half the price of some of the other ones. Fit was great for our 7 month old and could work for a smaller or bigger child because of the way it’s made. The hat was pretty floppy but it still worked great for one night.

This costume is adorable! The antennae and legs are wiry and bendable so you can move them in any direction you want but well secured to the costume. It is truly one size fits all as my 4 month old fit just fine in it, and it is stretchy so it will fit a much bigger baby too up to 25 pounds. The fabric is shiny and attractive and had no comfort issues for baby. My 4 month old does kind of have a small head so the headpiece would kind of flop to the side a bit but was easily re-adjusted. The perfect thing for this ensemble would be to get a metal bucket (well padded of course!) to put baby in for a photo op and you could also get a chef hat as an adult costume to complete the look. One important note: You do need to buy a red coverall underneath it though as it does not come with this costume!

The bodysuit was super easy to use for getting the baby in and out on Halloween. He was also very comfortable in it all night. However, the hat was 3 sizes too big. I ended up cutting the eyes off of it and sewing them onto a regular stocking cap. It was still cute and got the point across.

I bought this costume from In Fashion Kids. I ordered it on a Wednesday around 3pm and received it that Saturday. Very fast shipping. My son is 11 months and about 25lbs. The costume just fits him but that's fine I expected that. I did order a red onsie sleeper to put under it. This is sleeveless - the lobster arms attach by an elastic band, making this outfit sleeveless. Also, the bottom of the costume doesn't have a place for legs (it's elastic at the bottom as well), it's made like a layette. This is the cutest darn costume!! I haven't washed it yet but due to the wiring (tenacles), I will wash it by hand. It's made decent for the money. I would order this again. And I would purchase from In Fashion Kids again.

I thought that this costume was so cute! The fit was a little big (particularly the hat), but then again, our baby is smaller than most his age (9 months). The seller shipped our order out very promptly; same day actually. However, the shipping company took their sweet time geting it to us; a full week actually. Lucky for us, I ordered it early enough so that he was able to wear it to a party that we were going to a week before Halloween. We look forward to putting it on him again Halloween night. I would not recommend this costume to anyone because I want MY son to have the best costume! LOL!

I ordered this for my 8 month old son for Halloween (which is quickly approaching) and it wasn't what I expected. The reviews on it seemed like it was an amazing costume, which is why i purchased it. The fabric looks rad and is very soft, but it doesn't look like the picture. The eyes are made of baby washcloth fabric With a black felt dot hot glue gunned on. The eyes are also hot glue gunned on the head piece, which is a little bonnet. The legs of the lobster are lil wire fabric things, that are just there, you can shape them any way you want and the bottom of the costume is a big hole. So when we carry our son the costume scrunches up to his chest. The arms are kinda weird, it's a lil elastic band you put around his wrist, which causes the lobster arm to move a lil stiff like Aaannnnndddd you have to provide your own red leggings and long sleeved onsie So now we are in search for some red tights, so his bare legs won't show.. Luckily we have a "my first Christmas" onside that is red and long sleeved.. Overall, it's cute, but I would have chosen a different costume if i knew all the flaws in this costume..

My girl is 7 months old and this costume fit her well, and I’m pretty sure, just because of the way it is designed, it will fit her next year too! We loved it and she was the cutest lobster I’ve ever seen! The hat is definitely huge but I just put a hair tie around the back of it to make it smaller and it worked great. We are very happy we went with this costume!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Very cheaply made for the price we paid. It was such a disappointment. There was nothing on the bottom that makes it so the costume doesn’t ride up- so baby will of course pull it up. The arm holes were WAYYY OFF — one was literally right under the lobster arm part and the second one was down by her hips (the opening for that arm Wasn’t even big enough for her arm- and she’s pretty tiny!!) I REPEAT- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
