Although labeled as an XXL it fits skin tight like an XL would fit me although it is stretchy. Also very thin material and for what you get, it's very pricey

I love Smartwool products. I have Smartwool socks, beanies, gloves, and a Smartwool 250 baselayer that I love. I expected the 150 baselayer to fit the same as the 250, but it’s much smaller.

If you want a lightweight baselayer shirt with a zipper, this is great. I found I did not like the zipper - it made the shirt more work to put on and take off than a simple crew, as I had to unzip and zip, and it felt less comfortable to wear.Zipper aside, it has flat-lock, off the shoulder seams which are more comfortable with a pack.It has a slim, comfortable fit similar to Icebreaker's.I like the nylon core for added durability.The wool felt a little itchy on my arms, more so than Icebreaker's, but not too bad, and would presumably decrease with washing. It was much less itchy than REI's.

This top is perfect for him. He 88 years and going strong. Very fit and trim. This cold winter in the northwest has been challenging for him. He is now warn all day, inside and out and I just ordered a pair of Smartwool bottoms.These are the first layer to buy!
