Polar Speed Sensor W.I.N.D.

I needed to get a replacement once of these as my previous one had stopped working (after nearly 2 years but not that much riding). It all functions fine and when used with the RCX5 and the cadence sensor, then it's all great. Just a shame that its nearly 40 quid for what is a battery costing just a couple of pounds. I didn't read about that with the original watch purchase - it probably wouldn't have changed my mind on that, it's just an issue when one needs to get the wallet out! No complaints otherwise.

Great unit; very reliable have these sensors on all my 3 bikes;No problems;Only downsideThe tolerance in terms of distance is extremely tight but once set will not move due to the rubber mounting even when washed with hose & brush!One other point some people have reported units failing. Generally it's the battery, view the pics I took to change the battery (CR1632, 3v).I was able to get my batteries from my local large Tesco's!

An easy to setup replacement sensor for my existing sensor which lasted for 5 years so hopefully will last as long. Instructions were easy to follow and took all of 5 mins to fix to fork leg and then get computer to acquire signal. Expensive for what is essentially a new sensor with a new battery, however, if it lasts 5 years like my old one then it is good value and definitely a fit and forget item.

Very impressed with the product ! However be aware when setting the sensor up sometimes the red led light fails to light up dont worry as long as the sensor and magnet are within the giving measurements it will work fine :)
