This did not last one attempt at the dog opening the door

I have a seven pound cat that pretty much owns my apartment. I absolutely cannot have any door closed in this house or his world will end. That includes the bedroom door. Now, I have a curtain hung over the door to prevent excess light coming in but it didn’t slow him down from barreling through that curtain and pushing the door and curtain all the way open, waking me up. I tried making do with adding things behind the door but they get in the way. I tried adding weight to the door so it would be too heavy for him to open: I MADE A STRONGER OMEGA CAT. I was left searching for solutions when I came across this. It was super easy to install and MEGA CAT barreling through the curtains at 1pm cannot even budge this handy strap. It’s just open enough so he has to use his pea brain to actually find the opening and make it through. Finally, an answer to my calling. No more getting out of bed three or four times to close the door and block out the light that MEGA CAT let in. I have included a photo of this Dubbed MEGA CAT, despite his cuteness he is STRONG at my hands.

It really is such a simple concept and yet it works.. intended to create something similar myself (to let the cats into a room but keep the dogs out) and yep Amazon came to the rescue.. again. Nice and sturdy and not unpleasant looking and cheap as chips to buy..

Bought several of these to stop the dogs from getting into rooms where the cat litter boxes are. This way the door can stay open wide enough for a cat but not wide enough for a dog. They were incredibly easy to install and work perfectly.

Got this to keep the dog out the room where the litter tray is and it's done the trick. Easy to use and get used to. Sticks well.
