For nm from the uk, does your trapper keeper work good with a4 sheets? i too am seriously nostalgic and also looking for my son to have one :)

The sleeves on the inside work fine with A4, that's not a problem. It's a 3-ring binder though, so if you want to put anything in the actual rings outside of the sleeves, then you'll have to get a single-hole punch and punch the holes yourself (most notepaper holes in the UK are 2 or 4-holed). But other then that, it's a pretty snazzy Trapper Keeper!
