In the Company of Seahorses: Short Stories from Near and Far

A very interesting and well written book, I’ve been reading this on and off for the past few days now and I’m really enjoying it. It is a great book for referencing against as well. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about the UK southern coastal marine life.

This bbook deals with the two species of seahorses that are endemic in UK waters but the majority of the book (202) pages covers fish,crustaceans and birds that live in the same environment as seahorses.For the seahorses is recorded anatomy,lifee cycle,camoflage,predators,prey,,threats and habitatsThje companions included 15 specifish, of ish,crustaceans,molluscs and birds.Excellent text and pictures but a very disappointing book.

For personal use, information and interest on seahorses. Had not expected to see other creatures within the pages of the book. This did not detract in any way from my wish to have the book, in fact it added to my interest in the environment and wildlife.
