It could have come with batteries and a little tool to open it to install the batteries

Don’t buy
We have bought 2 of these and they don’t last at all. Very dissatisfied as our Great Grand child loves it and still wants another😢

Put in battery s and sounds like it works but no bubbles won't suck up the bubble soap.
