A Garden Lifesaver! Safe, Effective, and Under $10!
If you are looking for an affordable, highly effective way to protect your garden and home from pests, you absolutely need to try this! I purchased the half-pound bag of HARRIS Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth on Amazon, and it has been an absolute game-changer. Right now, my vegetable garden is gearing up for summer, and Iโve been dealing with ants and other annoying pests crawling all over my bell peppers and dahlias. With a massive harvest of various peppers, melons, and other veggies coming in over the next month, I wanted to be proactive and stop these bugs before they could do any real damage. This product has worked beautifully! Iโve been using it for a little over a month now, and the results speak for themselves. My routine is simple: I water my garden one day, and the next day once things are dry, I apply this all throughout the garden bed. While it doesn't happen overnight, I have noticed a massive reduction in pestsโand some days, I donโt see a single ant! Here is why I love it: It Works: Dramatic reduction in ants and garden pests within just a few weeks. Pet-Friendly & Safe: Because itโs food-grade, I feel completely comfortable using it around the garden. Versatile: I recently learned it can be used inside the house too! I plan on applying it around my front door and patio door to catch the little pests trying to sneak inside. Incredible Value: For under $10, you truly cannot go wrong. If you want a safe, budget-friendly solution to keep your plants safe and your home pest-free before the summer heat hits, give this a try. You won't regret it!

easy to use and works
easy application and works well. Does not kill immediately but it isnt meant to. Slowly kills and deters insects from that area. We are pretty humid here and it needs to be dry for it to work best but it does work very well.

It's working and killing those ants building homes between my paving stones!
HARRIS Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade actually works and is killing the ants building homes between my paving stones! We had about a dozen ant hills popping up between the paving stones. Call me cruel, but after spraying this into the hole, I can watch the ants hauling the product out of their hole, and then, in a day or two, I there are ant bodies around the hole (shown in pictures). The application puffer tip is awesome allowing me to target the spray into the holes, thus reducing excess outside the holes and unintentional contact with pets (dog and cat). This has been effective in killing the ants and the ant piles are now reduced to the ones and twos popping up, which are easily targeted with more of this product. I'll keep a bottle of this handy and will buy again when it runs out.

Ant control, safe around pets
Was a gift for my kid Sister, She was amazed to find how well it worked for her ant issue. Healthy for plants, safe around a curious Frenchie. Single application works.

Works great
This stuff is awesome! Weโre using it to keep maggots away from our house and out of our trash bin since the bin is next to the back door.

Gets rid off ants and other Pests safely
I purchased this Harris Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth to help with ants and gnats around my plants, and it has worked really well. I like that itโs 100% chemical-free with no additives or fillers, which gives me peace of mind when using it around pets and children when applied as directed. The included puffer tip makes it easy to apply in cracks, crevices, and other hard-to-reach areas without making a mess. Itโs simple to use both indoors and outdoors, and it works especially well in gardens for controlling crawling insects. For best results, apply it to dry surfaces and reapply after rain if using it outside. Since itโs a fine powder, I recommend wearing a mask during application to avoid breathing in the dust. Overall, this is an effective, easy-to-use product thatโs great to keep on hand for pest control around the home and garden.

Label says not for pesticide use
I donโt know that I can say much other than, the product description here (which led me to buy it) isnโt borne out by the product label. I didnโt see the backside of the product package until it arrived, and that has a label saying itโs for animal feed and not for use as a pesticide. Hereโs a photo of the back along with the front; I used yellow highlighting on the photo to highlight where it says itโs for animal feed and not pesticide use. Yet below, Iโve copied and pasted the product description, which said it can be used as a pesticide. This is too bewildering for me, since the label said itโs not to be used that way Iโm returning it for a refund. I have to rate it so Iโm just going with 3 stars but I really donโt know how it works as animal feed (let alone for pesticide use). Thanks anyway, and God bless! โTop highlights โFood-grade formula safe for pets, kids, and plants โ Puffer bottle reaches tight cracks and crevices easily โAll-natural powder eliminates bugs without chemicals โ Summarized from product information * 100% Chemical-Free: Made from 8oz of food-grade freshwater diatomaceous earth with no additives or fillers. works - ONLY with these 2 other things - do this!
after some research, i paired this with neem oil and ant bait stakes to try and get rid of ants in my indoor house plants. and it killed all of my ants within a week or two, this was a huge savior for my plants. not totally sure which thing killed all my ants, but a combo of these 3 did the trick perfectly worth the price to get all 3. i only used a little bit to kill the ant in several plants, so this will certianly last a long time if used in a similar way. it was super easy to use, just squeeze and the powder fluff out, pretty satisfying. its not very noticable after a day and is great for your plants, would highly reccomend!

Works great for keeping insects at bay
Effective physical insect control. Has dramatically decreased the number of insects in indoor areas where I used it to line entrypoints. Apparently it's non-toxic, so I definitely prefer it over insecticides. But it's more a preventative/supplemental measure than a solution. For something like ant infestations, I'd suggest you use it in conjunction with ant bait (don't pour this around the bait though, you want those ants to live). It comes out like baking powder. I just poured a little in the desired areas then spread it using a small brush. The included spout isn't convenient for larger areas, so I'd suggest something like a bulb duster instead for that. You're apparently only supposed to apply a very thin layer to flat surfaces, because if you can clearly see it then the insects can definitely see it and will avoid it. Not that effective outdoors as rain will wash it away.
