LIGHTAILING Led Light for Lego 10293 Santa's Visit Building Blocks Model Remote-Control Version - NOT Included The Model Set

The lighttailing kits are always designed for wires to be out of the way and mostly hidden. The lights are bright and the instructions are well-detailed. This time I bought one with a remote which lets you change colors. It's fantastic!

Received in nice box and added to the set. It takes a little work and box includes a detailed step by step manual. I suggest to buy CR2025 for the remote control so you can do light effects and more. I contacted support with some questions and they were fast to respond. This was my first LED set for Lego kit and I like it.

While the lighting kit does enhance the overall image of the set, the directions did not include any words and the steps were not very clear on where to route the wires; I occasionally had to be creative and use my own routing. Additionally, the parts used were generic and very cheap considering the money paid for the set; the router arrived broken and customer support was not easy to contact. Both the Lightailing website and their Amazon store does not include contact information on their customer support pages. Individually these problems don't pose much of an issue but since they all happened at once it made the cost of the set significantly more if you include the time I spent troubleshooting the device and the time it took me to hunt down the contact information along with Amazon's help. I can only light up one strand at a time until Lightailing sends me a replacement part (eventually).

Great, but take time to install.

I loved the idea behind this and we were super excited to add it to our house BUT…what a pain in the 🍑. This was NOT easy to assemble. Cords show and the wires are very delicate and do not hide behind the legos easy. I almost gave up. Very frustrating. I did finish it but was not happy with finished product up close. From far away I guess it works

This my first attempt at putting lights on lego. Well lego is new to me also. The end product looked amazing. The instructions for the kit can be a little hard to follow. It's all pictures and it's a smaller book, so bring your glasses. The quality seemed to be there in the lights and controller. Installing was a challenge, only because your are disassembling the lego project. That's not a negative. We will see how things last. But I am impressed. It was worth the momey

I ordered this LIGHTAILING kit to help light the LEGO Christmas Village I build with my kids each year. I had looked at reviews from other brands that said buyers had issues, but there were no such comments from the LIGHTAILING brand on several platforms. The package arrived very quickly, and is well put together. The instructions are very detailed in a full gloss booklet and include QR code links to instructional videos. I tested all the wire strings and all the lights are working perfectly. The wires are very small to fit between the bricks and could be fragile and that is mentioned. Bricks appear the be genuine LEGO modified professionally to hold the LEDs. I can’t wait to order more LIGHTAILING for my other LEGO sets!
