Meh
Was extremely excited for all the different sounds and light combo! Unfortunately every sound sounds so similar, you can't tell half of them apart. All just sound like straight static at best. Love the light features. Would be better classified as a portable white noise, not sound machine.(

Awesome! Really nice portable white noise machine. Good for babies of all ages.
Awesome white noise machine. The noises it makes are exactly as I would expect. There are plenty of volume levels and the range of volumes is from "barely audible" to "a little too much". One drawback that I potentially see in the future is that you can't replace the batteries. If you're not able to charge the unit, it isn't going to work. But... you could bring an external back-up battery pack. The buttons are obvious and intuitive. I haven't read the directions, but I don't feel I need to. The buttons are a bit small and somewhat close together, but I was able to press only the button I wanted. This is "for baby" and it's in the baby products section, but I like it for myself... and I have been a baby in decades.Pros: * Rechargeable (with micro USB charging cord) * Good white noises, plenty to choose from * Good range of volume levels * Compact, light * Good for babies of all agesCons: * Can't replace the batteries * Only comes in Robin Egg Blue

A really nice white noise machine with 16 sounds & a night light at a very reasonable price!
I love these so-called white noise machines. They always remind me of the HoMedic’s sound machines, something that everyone used to seem to have. They were expensive, but worth the expense. The company is still in existence, producing high-quality products. This particular white noise machine has a wide variety of sounds, sixteen to be exact.I’m fortunate in that I don’t have problems sleeping, but still enjoy these machines. This one has an assortment of white noises, fan sounds, and my favorite nature sounds. This one is targeted toward a varied audience, including infants in the nursery. This has a small, but very comprehensive User Manual. In order to get the most out of this machine, it’s necessary to experiment with it a while. This is a rechargeable model and it takes a while to fully charge.Once my white noise machine was charged, I was able to listen to the sounds. They are quite crisp and easy to identify. I do enjoy the nature sounds, some quite fun and realistic (others not so much so). The only sounds I don’t care for are the shushing ones. Volume control was easy with a simple touch of a button. It can get quite loud so I can hear it in another room. If I want, I can set this machine to operate on a timer for 30/60/90 minutes. For fun, I used to turn on an oceanside web cam to listen to the waves. No there’s no need to do that because I can simply turn on this white noise sound machine and listen to them roll in. I find these sounds to be quite soothing, something I enjoy doing when I’m relaxing in the evening. The price is very reasonable at just under $25. This is much better than the old sound machines by far!WHAT’S IN THE BOX:White Noise Sound MachineUSB CableUser ManualHookSPECS:Timer: 30/60/90 Minutes or Cancel w / Memory FunctionSounds: 16 Sounds: 4 White Noise Sounds / 4 Fan Sounds / 8 Nature Sounds (Ocean, Lullaby, Running Water, Bonfire, Bird Calls, Thunderstorm, Train, HeartbeatSound Volume: Adjustable (0 – 12 Levels)Battery Capacity: 1500mAh Polymer Lithium BatteryCharging Time: Within 3 HoursWorking Time: 7 to 20 HoursHeadset Jack: NoMaterials: ABS + PC, metal speaker cover, silicone (lanyard loop)Color: Blue and WhiteSize: 4.45” x 4.29” x 2.32”Weight: 6.74 OuncesCERTIFICATIONS:FCCCERoHSMade in China.

This pocket watch of a sound machine goes anywhere (but not at a whisper)
The media could not be loaded. This is the first truly portable sound machine I've found; I recently got one advertised as "ideal for travel" with a USB cord, but it was 10x the size and weight of this one and turned out not to be chargeable either. This one is, and it doesn't take long to fully charge for up to a night's use. This fits in the palm of my (small woman's) hand and has a wider selection of sounds than some tabletop models—impressive for such a little thing. There's a soft rubberized back/bottom for setting it down on a surface without noise or scratching, and a somewhat flimsy plastic clip for attaching to a stroller, crib, etc. (easily swapped for a real carabiner for a more secure hanging attachment). The control buttons function fairly intuitively (e.g., press the timer button 1x each for 30/60/90 minute time, and one more time to turn the timer off again). The order of buttons along the bottom rim is not quite as intuitive, but easily learned. Power on/off is on the side just above the USB port, and a ring nightlight with two levels encircles the controls and speaker. My sole quibble with this is that the volume doesn't go quite as low as I'd like, but I'm also testing in a quiet space so it sounds comparatively louder accordingly.Bottom line: If you need a sound machine on the go, this one should more than serve the purpose, and at an excellent price too.

Battery-operated sound machine w/timer & 16 sounds; highly portable
The media could not be loaded. This sound machine comes with a total of 16 sounds. It is battery operated and is packaged with a USB cable, the unit itself, a circular clip, and an instruction pamphlet.I charged this for about one hour before use. Operation is simple as per my video. Press the ON/OFF switch on the side. There are seven operational buttons on the face of the unit. The white noise button is where the four white noise and four fan sounds are located. The lullaby button is where the eight nature sounds are such as chirping birds, a train going over the tracks, thunderstorm, etc. The timer feature goes from 30, 60, and 90 minutes or can be turned off to play continuously. There is a pause button and a light button with two brightness levels. The unit is really lightweight and highly portable. There is no headphone jack. The only major negative I see is that the ON/OFF button can be hit accidentally when the unit is being carried since there is no lock feature. The current price of $19.43 ($21.59 minus 10%) is on the high side of competitively priced for a portable unit with only 16 sounds and no lock button.
