Great reel very smooth and feels very sturdy

Great value for money. Design and action are impressive. It will fully compliment the outfit I'm using it for.

I do like the reel which is quite weighty and robust. However although there is a sheet detailing every component of the reel I was very disappointed that it came with no instructions/guidance whatsoever. I am yet to find out how to change the spool if necessary. Despite e-mailing the help desk I didn’t even get the courtesy of a reply.

Loved it is lovely and smooth very easy to use one of the best reels I have got.

I am not usually compelled to write bad reviews, but in this case, I need to warn the fellow fishermen. This is cheap plastic handle reel that broke off after couple of sessions. It started to get heavy to turn and eventually it broke the handle. Worst off - it broke down as I was pulling a big fish. As you can see handle is attached to the shaft with piece of hollow tin metal insert that broke in three parts. Now it is heading to the garbage bin. I should have known better.

As piece of equipment this item was very good but....I was very disappointed with the presentation. It was simply enclosed in some bubble wrap, inside a plain cardboard box. No accompanying paperwork OF ANY SORT! No warranty, user or manufacturer's instructions, dos or don'ts, tips on usage, maintenance, aftercare, returns etc. Nothing! No sign that documents were enclosed in a separate envelope. Made me suspect that this might have been a copy or counterfeit item. As previously stated, the actual item appears to be of good quality and having used it, it's OK. Mitchell is a good established manufacturer and you would expect some guidance on how to get the best from the product. If there were some actual documentation which should have been enclosed but was not, for any reason, I would appreciate it. I doubt this will happen.
