Seriously a smart system
If you actually have a pixel phone this is seriously a smart system. When a put an old non-pixel android phone on to charge (kids use it) it does the standard charger things. But when I put my pixel (only 7 series) on it, all kinds of things are unlocked. You can have it do slideshow pictures while charging, among other things. But the neatest thing is the charging itself. There are several basic settings that you have when placed on stand. There is a charge as fast as possible, which draws more power and might make a bit more noise due to the fan to cool things. There is charge somewhat slower, but quitter trying to minimize fan usage. However if you do the same thing all the time it learns and adapts without input. Say you put your phone on from roughly 11pm-5am most days. It will learn this and automatically not charge fast when your phone goes on the stand around 11pm. It will target to have it ready around the time in the morning. This may be a weird disadvantage if for some reason one night you absolutely need it to charge as fast as possible, but I think you could override and request a faster charge.

Day 1, it connected as soon as I sat my phone on it
Update: day 3. I do really like this charger. My phone paired with the charger! I didn't even realize my phone would even do that. If you have other Google devices it can be even more functional. There is 1 thing I dislike. It doesn't charge if you place your phone sideways. But it did give me like 3 different charge options, I didn't select the fast charge since this is used overnight. A positive is that it doesn't have any lights that bother me while I'm asleep. There is also a feature that it wants to setup bedtime mode, can silence the phone and even turn off my screen which is even better. Still wish it came in black though. I have a Pixel 6 with an OtterBox defender pro series case. I previously bought a yootech or something flat disc charger that made my phone so hot and when I woke up I had 39% battery and felt like I could fry an egg... Quickly returned that junk. This is $60 more expensive. This charger is super expensive in comparison, but the Google USB C brick and meter long cable (mines about 5ft) is currently listed for $33.62. I really wanted a wireless charge, 8 probably should have paid the extra money for an iPhone, but T-Mobile/Apple ($35) wouldn't give me any trade in value on my Pixel 3a unless I stayed android. Where as I could get $300 from Google toward a new phone. But I've digressed. This charger is godly expensive but hopefully works. It says wirelessly charging, I will be utilizing adaptative charging since I will use this overnight. I think to get that 23watt charge speed you need to plug it in instead of wireless charge.

Excellent wireless charging stand for all your mobile models & accessories
While this is specifically designed to work with Pixel phones, it works with just about every mobile phone & accessories that have wireless charging (Qi) function - including iPhones & AirPods. Do note that the stand has different charging outputs for different phones & accessories. Pixel phones are rated up to 23W (this is dependent on the settings you choose in the app), while it's 15W limited to all other Qi devices. iPhone is limited to lower wattage (7.5W to 10W) (but this may increase with upcoming software update from Apple to enable Qi 2 wireless charging on existing iPhones). It will also charge your wireless enabled AirPods & Pixel Buds cases without any issues. The stand isn't magnetic, but placing it near the middle of the cradle will be enough to engage charging. You'll see a specific Pixel Stand app pop up when you first place your Pixel phone, where you will see additional function options such as power output options (this can be toggled at any time later), integration with Google Home functions (automate a light or switch when placing the phone), and phone display options when placed on the stand. The stand has a built-in fan to improve heat management of the stand, so you won't have to worry about excessive heat due to long periods of wireless charging. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good wireless charging station for their mobile phones & accessories.

Convenient and fast
I was using this daily with my Pixel 7 Pro, and it does give a fast charge and works very well. It is also nice having it act as a stand for when charging my phone at my desk so I can still see the phone screen. I have since upgraded to a Pixel 9 Pro XL, and got a case with Magsafe installed so I could start using Popsockets. I wanted Magsafe so I could more easily pull the Popsockets off when I wanted to wirelessly charge (since most charging stands can't charge through a Popsocket). Well, the one docked point is because I can no longer use this charging stand for my new Pixel, as the Magsafe case interferes with the charging, even without any Popsockets on. My bf and his brother still use it for their phones, so it still gets used, just not by me anymore. So as long as you don't use a Magsafe case you should be fine, and this is a great product that does what it is advertised to do, and does it well.

Amazing Charger – Worth Every Penny!
The Google Pixel Charger Stand is hands down one of the best wireless chargers I’ve ever used! It’s sleek, sturdy, and complements my desk perfectly. Charging is super fast and efficient, and it works seamlessly with my Pixel phone. I love how it automatically triggers the Pixel’s custom features like the photo frame display and smart home controls. It’s like turning my phone into a mini smart hub while it charges. The stand design is perfect for propping the phone up, making it easy to check notifications or use it as a bedside clock. Highly recommend this charger to any Pixel user! It’s stylish, functional, and delivers exactly what you’d expect from Google.

The perfect desktop/bedside charging solution for Pixel phone owners!
If you own a Pixel, this is a great choice. I debated it for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger when there was a deep discount on the retail price. I really don't like using the USB-C port on my phones. It always seem that over time, that is the part of the phone most prone to failure. So when I can, wireless charging is the best way to go. Because this is made for Pixel phones, it comes with the best fast as well as adaptive charging available. It also becomes a photo frame when you put your Pixel phone on it, and it essentially will work like a small Nest device. If you can get a good price on this, and you already own a Pixel phone, jump on this. It charges Pixel Buds Pro too! I understand this will also charge other phones with wireless charging capability, but of course will not do all the cool Pixel stuff like the photo slideshow or the Nest features.

Works right out of the box for my pixel
This is very easy to setup, just plug in your usb cable to the unit and the charger into the wall. My phone recognized it immediately and started a series of prompts. So this is both good and bad, if you want just a simple charge my device wirelessly then you will have to go though some menu choices to get through the setup which asks you a lot of questions that you may not care about. Some items are google assistant, how you want it to charge, max charge to full or charge quietly (doesn't make any noise while charging). You can choose a home screen, turn on do not disturb while it's charging, display your photos, control other devices etc... If you care about all of those things and like to customize a lot then this works great for that. I just needed a good high power wireless charger, it seems a little bit much for my needs and the cost was higher than I would have expected just for my needs. Considering all the things you get with it, I think it is reasonably priced. I would buy it again even given the circumstances it is a very solid base to it and I don't worry about it tipping over or the phone not feeling secure even with my case on it while charging.

A no-brainer for pixel 6 pro owners
I wanted to get the best phone from google so I got the pixel 6 pro but I wasn't sure about this charger since it was so expensive, but I took a chance and I don't regret my purchase at all. This charger isn't perfect, but I am loving how it keeps the phone cool during fast charging. Feels like the fastest wireless charging outside chinese phone brands, but I'm not a fan of heavy skins of android and subpar update support so they aren't an option IMHO. The fan is super quiet in my opinion, at my desk I never hear it running. I was surprised to learn that it connects via bluetooth to give it the extra features, so that's probably why it's so expensive, your average charger doesn't connect via bluetooth. Not sure I would recommend this to regular pixel 6 owners, since with that model you're trying to get an excellent value whereas other pixel 6 pro owners like myself want the best product even if it's not the best value. This includes the charging brick and a cable, so in my mind that helps as well to justify the higher cost since it completes the charging experience. Annoying that control of smart home devices doesn't work perfectly, my light only has brightness control and not on/off functionality. on/off works fine in the regular device controls from quick settings. On that note, I hate how on android 12 an unlock is needed to access device controls toggle from quick settings, hopefully the previews of android 13 are correct and we will be able to toggle the unlock requirement. Anyway, back to the charger itself: there's definitely no reason to pick this up if you own a phone from any other brand, this technically works as a standard Qi charger but there's no benefit to non-pixel owners for the high price. Hope this helps if you are a pixel owner on the fence about buying this charger!

Authentic authorized google pixel stand (2nd gen)!
Purchased this unit off Amazon for a fraction of the price that it was being offered on the Google store. It is an authentic unit and works great with my Pixel 6. In the box: - Pixel Stand (2nd gen) - 1.5 m USB C-to-C cable - 30 W USB-C power adapter (PD 3.0 w/PPS) Pros: - Fast charging (23W capability for pixel capable phones, otherwise 15W charging) - Adaptive charging capabilities (when phone is placed after 11pm and alarm in morning is set) - Quiet fan that is built into the Pixel Stand to prevent your phone from overheating - Includes a 30W power adapter with PD and PPS ($35 on its own) Cons: - Cannot charge phone in landscape mode Overall: It's a shame that I cannot be watch YouTube or Netflix in landscape mode from my night stand while charging the phone, otherwise this is a great product.

Great for Pixel
The Pixel Stand Gen 2 is great! Its sleek design and fast charging speed make it a must-have for newer Pixel phones that can benefit from the charging speeds this device offers. I was a little skeptical of it at first due to the addition of the fan as well as the fact that I had the original Pixel stand but fortunatley the fan is extremely quiet and it looks way nicer than the original. It also charges Pixel Buds without having to put them upside down (it even has a little divot for them). The Pixel Stand Gen 2 is a functional and stylish addition to my night table.

Caro pero excelente para su trabajo
La verdad podrías conseguir algo mejor en términos generales por ese precio, pero el precio esta relativamente justificado por lo que viene en la caja y por la experiencia de usuario

Works and quiet
Does exactly what I want it to do, charge my pixel 8 and keep it upright. Not one to sleep next to something I highly doubt was tested for safety in Canada, so splurged on this Google named wireless charger for personal comfort. Fan dissipates the heat I guess since have nothing to compare it to so bonus on that and have not heard any noise from it, to the point I questioned whether or not it has a fan inside lol.
