I do not like the upper coverage of most aprons nor the waist ties. I also didn't want an apron that hung from my neck. Large pockets are a must. So far, I am very happy with this apron. I've worn it but haven't washed it yet, so I may have to update this rating. Material is fairly stout but not too heavy. Two large pockets with some elastic at the top are very functional and will be great for holding iPhone etc. Coverage is also quite good but non-constricting. Easy to slip into and not really noticeable when on. Bottom line, I'm quite happy with this apron and the price was right!

12/01/2022 UPDATE: Held up beautifully after one wash (see pic) but just a little softer now. If someone cared to take the trouble, I’m sure some starch and an iron would make it feel like it did out of the package. Since my first review, I have worn this apron nearly every day, all day. No neck or shoulder discomfort. Stitching and hems still in great condition. I will probably get more for backup.I spend most of each day in an apron, so I have quite a collection. This is by far the best plus size work apron I have ever purchased. Fabric is just the right thickness, with vibrant beautiful patterns and reinforced seams/hems all around. Shoulder straps can kill you after many hours, but with adjustable cross back design you can fill up the pockets on this one without feeling like a literal albatross is about your neck. Bonus: since you don’t have any strings to tie and untie, it’s very easy to put on and take off. In addition, you don’t have to deal with any apron strings getting in the way or untied/loosened while carrying things or working. I haven’t washed it yet, so I’ll update my review since that’s an important feature for aprons.

I love this apron. It washes well. I don't iron it - I'm not particularly picky about wrinkles in 'around the house' clothes for chores - but this has a delightful vibe.Things that make it great for me:No strap around my neck irritating and pulling on my neck.No tie to come undone and dangle into a bucket or other stuff to get wet. (This does disappoint my cat but he'll get over it. )It covers all the way around my sides and parts of my back. Also down to my knees or further. (5'6" 280 lbs - I know, I'm working on it. )Deep pockets: phone, timer, tissues, a cleaning cloth all fit. I don't think it would carry a spray bottle unless it was small. It would be too bulky and heavy.But the biggest help for me is because of that cat. He loves to sit on my lap and be petted. But HE SHEDS! Like crazy. After sitting with him for 15 minutes I look like I'm wearing half his coat! I put on this apron first thing when I get dressed, then if I need to appear in the world I can just take off the apron and go. Great help. I usually have to change into another one if I'm cooking (because you know, no one wants fur dancing across their food) but I have one dedicated for that that doesn't have to washed as frequently.Pick a print that makes you smile and try it out.

(Blue Stripes color) This cross-back style of apron is fantastic for me and has saved my very sore neck. The fabric seems to be a decent thickness, although if you really slop something on yourself it might go through to your clothing pretty quickly. For everyday kitchen spatters and wiping your hands it will be just fine. I agree with another reviewer that the stitching seems like it could use a bit of reinforcing. I don't mind doing that myself just to make sure I can use this for a long time. The look and fit are quite nice; I appreciate having a bit more width across my chest and having the material wrap around my hips since I'm always wiping my hands there. Just for reference, I wear about a size 20-22.

As an artist, I need more fulsome coverage on my upper torso to protect from paint splashes. Because of that, I'm always reticent to spend much $ on aprons/smocks because they're going to be abused quickly. When I found this smock I was intrigued because it came in more sizes which similar items almost never are, so that was nice. The fabric seemed to be from what I could see online, more sturdy. I've had so many smocks rip almost immediately. The price was still within acceptable parameters because as I said, they get paint on them immediately and they're just not going to look good for long when caked with paint. When I received my smock today I was so overwhelmed with excitement (imagine being excited by a smock, but here I am) I put it on and rushed to show my husband (who is well aware of how much of a role they play in my work) and then to write this review. I'm going to buy several more and I'll forever continue buying these for as long as they're made. They're EXACTLY what the artist ordered. Comfortable, roomy, durable, and full coverage. I'm thrilled!If I had had this smock a week ago, I wouldn't have gotten the second degree burn I got on my upper chest from a regular apron's poor coverage. *sob*

The first one I received had a broken plastic buckle and obviously used but the size was perfect, so I'm returning it for replacement.Second one came and was a little smaller with no manufacturing tag anywhere on it and it smelled of cheap perfume. Was not imo the plus size of the previous one so I think that one is going back as well. How hard is it to get a "new" item? Hoping the next one will not be a used/returned item. If I get a satisfactory item, I will update the rating.UPDATE. After a few days, and before sending back, I decided to do a little size comparison. They are it seems the exact same plus size I ordered so I threw it in the wash and hoped for the best. Came out of the wash okay smelling clean and no shrinkage. I did not however put it in the dryer as I doughnut want to take that chance so I hung it to dry and it dried quickly it being cotton and all. Over, it's a really nice apron. Heavy duty but not heave to wear.

purchased this after reading many reviews. And they were right, this apron is the best.its big and roomy, even for us plus size gals. made out of very durable fabric . has a pretty print. there is nothing bad i can say about this apron, dont hesitate to purchase this, it is wonderful. I am ordering another one so i can have 2 :)

Being a larger lady. I find it difficult trying to get aprons to fit me.I found this apronner on Amazon. I was a bit unsure. A bit more expensive than I wanted to pay. But with plenty of colours to choose from. I thought I would risk buying one.It arrived quickly.I can honestly say. This is possibly the best apron I have ever had. Adjustable straps, plenty of room to cover all the areas I wanted it to protect my clothes. I have been wearing it all day without any problems. It is very comfortable.I would recommend this apron to anyone on the larger side.Well done to the person who took larger people into consideration when designing this apron.

Love it! Very good quality. Very pretty and comfortable to wear. Much better coverage over the chest area for plus sized people than conventional style aprons.
