Overall they work. Cost was low which was good. They are very thin and almost impossible to hold so you have to set them on something that can hold them in place. Do they cut steel knife blades (Sharpen knives) YES. But I'm not sure they are marked properly for grit size. That and the fact that they are only .040 of an inch thick is why I didn't give top stars.

I was a little concerned about buying these because of the price. How good could they be for that price? Pretty darn good. Diamond hones are very aggressive. The diamonds are sharp and hard and they do not move. The result is material is removed quickly. Even as these high grind level gentle pressure is all that's needed. As far as flexing. I wouldn't worry about it. I mean don't try to bend them because they will bend and never be the same, but with normal use they work just fine. Just put them on a solid surface when in use. ... lets see where are those kitchen knives again....

These are good for short term/ irregular use. They wear out fast. If you are learning how to sharpen planes/ chisels these will work well but if you get into woodworking enough that you are sharpening tools a few times a week then these will need to be replaced inside of 6 months.

Can’t complain for the price worked great

My only criticism is how thin they are. Not really a problem, but I personally like a little bit thicker plate.

The media could not be loaded. Very dissatisfied. Got the package today, just after opening I noticed right away that they were different than the ones showed in the picture of the publication. Besides this they had several shiny spots (no grit at all). Then I passed my nails over the stone as I always do to test the grit. Nothing. They just glide as if it were glass. Anyway I tried with a blade and even worst.It’s junk, just a flat piece of metal. To add to this it had rust marks all over.This would have been obvious to the seller before shipping, that means only 2 things; the worst quality control, or just bad faith.Sadly I’m in South America and that probably means I lost my money.I’ve used Chinese cheap stones for years and they always work great and have the marked grit; this is just unacceptable. First time I get something like this “stones”. Maybe I got unlucky, but, I’m doing this review to let others know about this, and also, so the seller get some accountability at least.Really sad because I waited weeks for them and really needed them.
