Great light. Very consistent white balance. I use it with one of their softboxes and it sheds nice, even, soft light. It is fairly powerful, but if using just one of these I recommend removing the inner diffusion material in the softbox to shed more light. Still very soft with just one layer of diffusion material.

I needed a simple key light for my small studio. This is compact and easy to use and very dependable.Recommend this for anyone on a budget. Get a smaller dome like the Mini III and you’ll be set.

This is the second light of this model and brand that I have purchased. These lights are so small and lightweight they make perfect fill or hair lights when. you don't have a lot of space in your car for stuff. They will run off a V-lock battery as well as AC which makes them very versatile. Having a second one in my kit shows I like and trust these fixtures as secondary light sources on the set.

I love this light for my studio setup, it’s definitely good for the cost

Bought three of these for home studio. Great price and value. Excellent light color quality at 5600 deg. The cooling fans started off quiet when I first got the lights but seem to have gotten progressively louder over time on two of the three units. Not terrible but akin to the sound from an average PC cooling fan. The dimming function works great. Cases are not great and difficult to put the lights and cords into. The cheap plastic housing does not support light boxes very well - but are doable if you are careful about it.

Great product. If I was buying again I’d buy the version where you can change color temp, but other than that, a great light. Accepts a GVM soft box with no issues.
