Knitting Loom Assortment: Set of 4 - 1 x Long + 3 x Round Looms. New Series Looms with extra pegs for bulky & fine yarns

After hours of internet researxh I chose this set of knitting looms as the most versetile ones I could find. The extra pegs seemed like a good idea, although I am now not convinced that I will use them. The looms have a deep groove, to assist the loon hooks in taking stitches over the peg. Each peg has a strongly defined square top, to help he stitch to stay on the peg until actively hooked over. For me, I have found the pegs of this model make my fingers sore, compared to another make. Also the stitches are small, so I use 2 strands of yarn. The hats I have made have been fine.

I bought these as I was getting repetetive stress injury in my right thumb. These did solve the problem so I can see how they would be good for arthritis sufferers etc. BUT I found them extremely slow to work with and was quite limited in the pattern you can do as I can't see a way to alter the number of pegs (other than doubling them) to allow for subtle variations in sizing. I have since solves the rsi problem by learning continental knitting instead. I will probably keep these for my 3 year old son in case he wants to try them out for crafts when he gets a bit older and I might have a go making flowers as I hvae seen something about that on the internet, but I don't think these are an alternative to knitting with needles (maybe I just didn't persevere long enough though).

It was not quite what I expected being more suitable for children

I ordered this set as it was the best value for money (at time od viewing) and it doesn't disappoint. The looms are sturdy and with the addition to the extra pegs they are brilliant for the finer wools and yarns. The set came before the estimated date and came with a free gift of two "handmade" charms. I received a friendly email about tracking the parcel too so a big well done to this company and their customer services ethic. Definitely recommended
