Great boots!
I will be the first to admit that when I typically buy something I need I go with the cheapest possible solution. There are exceptions to this but footwear has never been one of them.I work on a farm so my boots take a beating. Usually I can get about a year out of a $60 pair from walmart. This year however my new pair didn't even make it a year, the interiors wore out and I was getting blisters and places wear it was rubbed raw on my feet. So I gave in, did some research into some more quality boots and gave these a shot. I have bought Carhartt coats and hats before and know what a quality brand they are.I will go beyond saying that these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and say that they are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. Even when I put gel insoles into the other shoes/boots. I've already put them through some paces testing out the waterproofing and composite toe and they did not disappoint. My feet remained dry and safe. When combined with a pair of the Carhartt Men's Force socks they feel amazing. I worked a 13 hour shift doing a multitude of things and being on my feet all day. Climbing on and off trailers for a good 7 of those hours. And ONLY THEN did my feet really start to bother me at all, my feet would have been dying by the end of that in my old boots. If these last for a few years then I definitely know what my next pair of boots will be.

Very durable
Almost a year and they're just now starting to show wear. I used to go through 3-4 pair of work boots anually.

Heavy Duty
These Carhartt boots are the real deal. These are not cheaply made. The only downfall that I have to say are the strings. They are a little thin and not for this type of boot. They need to be thicker. Other than that these boots can handle it. Great protection for your toes and great support for your ankles. They look great and wear nicely. Like any footwear when you are going to be on your feet for long periods of time, be sure to add a pair of insoles. That will help in the ease of use of your boots and your feet and legs.

Great tough boot. Very comfortable *read my review*
First, the boots are very tough, comfortable, and well built with thick leather. They are light for this type boot. I’ve always used Timberland Pro, and Red Wing. I decided to give these a go because I liked the price tag a lot better plus I’ve never had issues with Carhartt. The footbed is very nice. Feels like a sport insert. I also want to add I have major foot problems. I broke my leg a couple years ago so my foot always hurts. I’ve had these for 2 days so far. And so far so good. My feet have never felt better. I’m a commercial concrete carpenter so my boots take some beatings and as do my feet. The only CON I have is that the tongue us thin. I noticed some rubbing going on but wear good socks and you’re GTG.

Comfortable. ...
Very comfortable! These are a great pair of boots - I typically wear Timberland Pitbosses, Irish Setters, Danners and some others, however, I am impressed with the fit and comfort of these Carhartts - just as good as the aforementioned boots. Nice features too - insulated, waterproof, soles have good grip and overall, they look pretty good.As for a sizing reference, I wear 10.5D in sneakers (Nike, UA, NB, Asics - sneakers typically run small) and a 10D when boots fit as expected. ... and these do. A perfect secure fit while still having some wiggle room thanks to a larger toe box.All in all, a solid boot that is very comfortable. Thumbs up!
