Healthy Option
This item arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. It is easy to use, great as an astringent on skin or cuts. Very useful to have in the medicine chest. I am looking forward to experiencing the benefits of it.

Good midge deterrent.
This summer we have been plagued by midges when on our frequent camping trips up to the Lake District and so decided to buy a portable diffuser as we like to sit out well into the dusk. This appliance can be worked from a USB, which I power from the car or via it's own rechargeable battery. These citronella essential oils are perfect for taking away with us as they take up so little room and come in a sturdy bottle. In use just a few drops are needed to get a good fragrance and I was pleasantly surprised how pervasive the aroma was. Walking back from shower block I could smell the citrus scent when I was a yard or two off the table that the diffuser was sitting on.Best of all was that the midges didn't seem to like it and kept well away leaving us in peace to enjoy the evening. We, however, enjoyed the fragrance, it being somewhat reminiscent of the smell of the lemon grove at the accommodation that we visit in Greece.Back at home I have a wooden summer shelter, and although the fly problem isn't as great there, we will be calling the diffuser into action when needed. I also intend to melt some T candles and infuse them with some of this essential oil for when we just want a little candle light in the room but with the enticing aroma of citrus fruit.A few drops can also be added to a skin lotion, I'm thinking about something like Johnson's Baby Lotion which is pretty neutral in aroma and which should allow the citronella to shine through. That would be added protection against bites when outside or just a pleasant smell to carry around with you.The cost of £11.99 for 30 ml may seem a bit on the high side but you use so little at a time and yet get such a powerful perfume that it works out to be quite reasonable value.

Expensive, unless the seller can justify it ...
In the absence of information on the composition of this essential oil (knowing the plant does not give you the mix of its components), I am unable to write a more technical review of this product. So, I assume that it is the standard concentration.Let's say that it smells as it should, feels the right consistency when rubbed between the fingers, and does not irritate my skin. The bottle is the typical drop-drip. Nothing fancy, but rather standard too. The packaging is clean and the sticker on the bottle is a plastic film: more plastic, but useful when you use this bottle in a steam-room, a sauna or a bath (as I do), because it won't peel. But, that is not enough to justify the price, when you can find far far far cheaper peppermint essential oils -- up to 10 times cheaper per 100 ml. I don't understand such a massive difference in price between products that are commodities (and made in comparable markets, e.g. Spain, France, USA). So, until Kukka can justify why their product is so expensive, I'll maintain my 1 star score for value for money.Other thought: I don't feel that the scent of this essential oil lingers much. There is definitely a sharp drop in the potency of the smell after 15 minutes.

Great for uplifting mood and also keeping midges at bay
This is a pack of 2 10ml bottles of Citronella Essential Oil. I use citronella essential oil in two ways. I add a few drops it to my electric diffuser and use it a few time during the day to lift my mood, especially when I am working hard and need to concentrate, the clarity citronella offers works well for me. I also use citronella to keep the midges away, we visit the West Coast of Scotland quite often and the midges there can be terrible. I either take a portable diffuser with me or I make candles containing this real citronella essential oil both of which make a big difference especially when sitting outside enjoying sunsets etc. I like the smell very much although this is not the strongest smelling citronella I have smelled it could well be because it is a natural product but it certainly does the job. A few drops on the inside of my wrist is also very pleasant and helps me to unwind (and keep midges away).
