I've been taking kava for a long time now, and about a year ago i decided to start ordering from amazon, for convenience sake.This is one company I hadn't tried yet, so i decided to give it a shot, and i wasn't disappointed.I opened up my package and saw the kava was a nice, fine grind, so i was pleased.The aroma left something to be desired, but this is to be expected with kava (as we all know).I made my first shell and drank it quick... I must say, the taste is worse than just about any kava, but in a mild way?Its strange, it tastes normal except something is inherently off.But since this doesn't affect the quality in any way, it didn't affect the rating.I would recommend adding honey to your grog, or bringing along a strong chaser.All in all the effects were great and balanced, maybe even a bit heavy, but overall a great kava.For anyone looking to try kava, or even someone whos been taking kava for a long time this is for you!

I wasn't really sure what to make of this when I opened the bag and took a whiff. A *very* strong nutty or almost doughy smell. I got a bit of numbness after a good swig and found the taste actually quite pleasant, if overwhelmingly nutty or herbal, for kava kava.I'm not sure if I got a batch that went off slightly or was dried in a way that imparted a strong scent, abut overall I found it interesting and not unpleasant.Bula!

Just not up to par. I do not recommend

The weirdest taste I’ve ever had in my mouth. I did research and tried a few different ways to take it. A calm, motivated feeling with some pain relief. I take Kratom as well, so taste & just throwing it back wasn’t bad. If you are sensitive to taste/texture, you are not going to like drinking this.I can definitely see why, historically, this was only for royalty. It is a truly wonderful feeling & the quality (from my little bit of experience) is top notch. The price makes it something I would only do every so often.

long story short, this is some good kava. i bought other kavas before but this and my aluball go everywhere i go. im definitely going to buy more

I have had better but there shaker and ball really help if new to kava. Kava will help as an alternative to many times for me it was the occasional beer during the week. I replaced the beer with kava and I sleep better, I feel better and I can still have that relaxing feeling when resting before bed.

I see myself using Kava as long as I possibly can in the traditional sense. It makes life so much easier, relieving stress and overall tension from daily work. Can’t drink it every day which imo makes it even better! Context: it does an amazing job at keeping me away. Far away from Alcohol and Marijuana as well. Kava although not necessary to quit those substances is an amazing, healthier alternative which is non addictive. Consult your doctor before use. I understand many conditions should steer clear.
