Le Avventure di Pinocchio (Italian Edition)

I mean who doesn't know Pinocchio? Having studied Italian for 4 years, I wanted something to read in Italian to practice my skills. This book is like a trophy and a true treasure. To see the words in its original state is pretty exciting.

It's a good movie, I really like all Pinocchio stuff and it was a great experience to see this movie. A hole new perspective.

Surprisingly well done for a made for TV movie! One of the best adaptions of a classic story I have ever seen! Great acting! Great effects!

It didnt take long for me to finish this book and this classic story lives up to the reputation it has, BUT the book is written with a weird and TINY font. It's not pleasing to the eye at all and seems kinda cheap. On top of that, I found the way the people in the book talk to be noticeably strange, with idioms, words and sentence structures that I have never seen before. I admit to not being a native Italian Speaker, but even when you translate certain phrases, they make no sense. I'm not sure if it's just archaic speech or if the author had misprinted or mistranslated some of this text, but it was very unsettling at first. That being said, as a learner of Italian, it was very fun and rewarding understanding the majority of the text and learning new words. I recommend this book to people who want to learn italian and improve their knowledge of the written language and its literature.
