Very nice and comfortable mattress
I love this mattress because it is a perfect match for my sleeping habits. I don't like sleeping on foam mattresses that absorb a lot of heat. And I don't like to sleep on mattresses with deep cushions. The emoor mattress is a perfect complement to my slatted folding bed.

A nice, lightweight padding for floor sleepers
Essentially, this feels like extra padding if you want some cushion but really prefer sleeping close to the floor or enjoy very firm mattresses. I love it so far. Took a bunch of photos for how it looks done up, during the day and right before bedtime. I tried to show thickness in relation to the floor and spacing of the futon overall. Perfect for one person as a twin size pad. I originally was using a $400 or so "shikibuton" from J-Life (the 4" thick version), but found, after a few months of sleeping on it, that the middle sinks in too easily and made my back hurt more (it was filled with just cotton). Ultimately, I paid $150 for this Emoor 2" thick shikibuton and love it so much more. The layered foam inside helps keep it from sinking in like my other mattress, but stays firm enough to provide a "level" back support (if sleeping on your back). I'm also a side-sleeper, which is important to note, and this isn't exactly tailored for that, but it doesn't seem to cause me pain (so far at least). That said, if you're a side sleeper and curious about shikibutons like this (2" thick), I'd recommend tucking a body pillow or something between your knees to help keep your spine straight. Considering the point of this style of bedding, I'd say that that's to be expected, though. I also use, as pictured, a foldable tatami mat under the mattress, which helps regulate a tiny bit of airflow and provide just a bit more padding off the floor (also helps keep the underside of the shikibuton cleaner). Overall, I really like this Emoor mat. It's light and a lot easier to lift and fold than my more expensive J-Life bed, but also comfy. I'd definitely recommend it if you like close-to-the-floor sleeping and sleeping on your back. Note: the bedsheet pictured is not included; mine was bought from J-Life along with its matching "shikifuton". Luckily, it fit well over this Emoor mat. Happy sleeping!

Very comfortable
I was hesitant of buying due to the thickness but, goes to show quality over quantity. VERY SOFT. Best floor sleep i have had. Tried thicker and cheaper but this is paying for quality and you can definitely feel it. Super lightweight and foldable. Definitely recomend!

Just the perfect firmness.
50 years old. Slept on my carpeted floor for 5 years. I dislike mattresses. They lie and hurt. I tried a few firm foam mattresses but again they were not firm enough. When I bought this and put it on my platform frame I was so extremely happy. Shouts of joy. Now I can still have my firm but my hips won’t be digging into the ground anymore. The cushioning is just the perfect amount.
