MOSTPLUSFront Power Steering Rack Pinion Assembly 4420035013 Compatible with 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner/1995-1997 Toyota Tacoma 4WD All Models

I am a Professional technician and the price of rack n pinions is crazy. Some are unbelievably expensive and really painful to afford. I've installed hundreds of racks over my career and have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of Mostplus parts. I was a little leary buying it at first because the price was pretty low. But I am a Prime member and the return policy is great, so I ordered it knowing I can send it right back if it was junk. I unboxed it and I was impressed. It looks just as clean and new as the image. Install of this rack is very easy and all threads were clean and assembly was flawless.NOTE: Save yourself some headache if this is your first time or two installing a rack.... gently apply small vice grips to the rack steering column spline and spin the rack all the way to the left and count the turns from left lock to right. then recenter the rack. Racks don't always come centered and ready to install.

This rack lasted 2 months on a stick 4runner before internally slipping. The steering wheel works left and right all the while driving straight. Diagnosed by three separate shops and every other steering component is new.Attempted to contact the seller but no way to do that as the return window is over.Normally these have a lifetime warranty and I did not check before getting it. It was cheaper but now I have todo the job again and eat the inital costs. Maybe I rethink ordering Amazon car parts of this is the outcome. Advanced auto.....at least I can walk in and swap it for a new one.
