Decent square taper crank.
I am one of those that prefer tried and true old reliable square taper. I had gone to 170mm cranks but went back to 175mm, which are hard to find. So I got these. These are durable and do the job, and inexpensive to replace. Unbolt the chainrings and put on your favorite narrow wide ring and you are ready to shred.

Worked great on a gt avalanche 2012 or 13 I believe it was... Awesome!
No complaints so far, lightweight and strong, replaced a GT avalanche crankset and its been standing up to normal use for the last month.

Not a wide thin design.
It skips in low gears. The crankshaft is solid. Fits well on tapered square bottom bracket. It's good for bikes that tool around town but not for aggressive riding.

Ease of service trumps everything else when your steed is disabled.
I went back to simpler, cheaper, and typically more durable parts for an upcoming long, unsupported cycling adventure. Better to have critical parts that can be found almost everywhere than special-order parts that probably can’t be found anywhere at the moment.

Cheap
I bought this for my mongoose hitch fat bike. I needed lower gearing for riding through the snow during the winter. It worked great for a while. After 800-1k miles the smallest chainring is worn out. So I go to replace it and it is not the standard 64 mm BCD. Big disappointment

Good product
We use this bike at least five times a week and this crankset has held up well. It was super easy to install.

Can’t install pedals
The threads for the pedal were completely stripped/threaded wrong and I could not install pedal....looks like a nice set of crank arms wish I could use them
